I just bought the Ultimate Edition literally 2 hours ago.... then after like 30 minutes of trouble shooting saw all these threads. Deciding between a major fml or if I'm just waisting my Monday away =P

Its not really a FML cause the game is awesome but its more o the monday waved at you and flew away

What I find amazing is that there is still, so much humor over it. You people are really great! Even those complaining the most are pitching in with the funnies. I find that my poor issue with it, is rather redundant so I guess that any complaints that I may/may not have are quite poor in comparison. I simply haven't anything to add to the mix that is any better, so I guess that I will simply play/install a different game until this issue is resolved. I just hope that I can remember where I left off in game.

Beside, this game issue pales in comparison to my just now, having to take a pipe wrench to a jar of preserves just to get the "blankety thing" open.

I loaded up DAO to get a couple of games finished to load into DA2, I'm glad I came here first before freaking out that my DLC wasn't authorized anymore. =P

My copy of Ultimate Edition arrived today (Tuesday) about an hour ago. After 40 minutes of trying to get my game to say my DLC content is authorised, thankfully I came here and saw this thread! I take it that the servers are still down? I thought the "cannot contact servers" error when I spoke to the Warden's Keep guy in camp, was my laptop and internet being their usual crappy self, I guess not.

I find it ridiculous that claiming the game is complete when it isn't complete until it is "authorised". What a shame for people with no internet connection when they buy the game. Isn't that what a product key is for? Thank God I am not into PC games, DRM needs to die.

Scrolled through 15 pages hoping to find another post from Rob about the issue.  Instead I found a couple funny chat logs from support, some caps lock rage, and a bunch of other people like me wondering what the timeframe for this outage is going to be.

EA/Bioware has taken way to long on the first step (notifying us of the issue), but I would like to know how long a fix for this issue is expected to take.  No guesses from support; I would like an official word.

@PhynoxNight, you can reinstall your DLC to your game settings folder:

• Open your Dragon Age install directory (e.g. C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\dragon age ultimate edition\\)
• Open the "redist" folder
• Double click the DAOU_UpdateAddinsXML_Steam.exe installer.

I'm assuming you have the Steam version.  If not, hopefully someone else with the disc version can help you out with the location of the AddIns installer.
