Then, in the dream, Duncan morphed into a Darkspawn, and it all turned into a Nightmare, the Darkspawn pointed at the screen where a big font text reading, "You are Unauthorized" showed up, and he started laughing. I gasped, in fear, and when I turned to look at the group, you were all Darkspawn as well! - It was horrible, HORRIBLE I tell you.

You were there too Highlor3, you held that same face that you have in your avatar pic. As if you knew, you KNEW it was a nightmare. I remember you taking a bite at the pizza, and your eyes held the truth behind all that masquerade of a celebration. As if you knew it was all a alie, a lie in my mind. Possibly created by the Archdemon. Nonetheless you also turned into one of those long-grinned Darkspawn (You know the creepy ones that look like they're smiling). I woke up sweating, and hugged my teddy bear right before rushing over to see how the events had unfolded here in the Thread. To my disappointment nothing had changed. I rushed over to the OP to see if anything had been updated, and nothing. We had been abandoned, we were left behind in Loithering, as the armies of E.A. escaped North, forgetting we existed. They marched towards the land of other game titles, towards profit and disinterested apathy. 

Maker please hear our pleas!

I don't know if I should be happy I was in a woman's dreams, or worried that she thinks I look like the guy who played Merlin in "Excalibur".

Thanks, I could keep going. But always inside the Technical Issue context. Otherwise the Mods won't take seriously our distressed pleas, and agony.

On Topic: Dear Bioware, and by extension E.A., you are hurting us, emotionally! Vladimir for example; he's a nice fellow, but because of all of this, surely he'll grow bitter, and hardened (And not the way one hardens Alistair) to make his decision to (spoiler alert, spoiler alert), but in a bad way, in a useless way. His potential will be thwarted by this situation.

Do not do this to him, or to any of us. Do the charitable thing E.A. and Bioware, help your people, we have entrusted you with our green papers, provide us with the trust, and comfortability we deserve as your loyal- uhm. As your loyalists! eh.. uhm...

I expect Bioware and E.A. to satisfy my apetite, libido and other needs from now on because of this. And they better not get sloppy on their game lore writing! I can overlook horrible technical incompetence that won't allow us to play a single player game for days, but what I cannot forgive is a badly written plot or characters! I just reinstalled windows and restored my ultimate edition through steam. All the DLC is there but it says it is "unauthorized". Several hours of troubleshooting from old forum posts and here I find it is not an issue on my side and it has been going on for days!? With so much bad press against Bioware/EA since DA2 was released and now this, you think they would have done more than just post one short, uninformative, statement in a sticky thread. Give us an update already!

I wonder if this server outage is also related to my being unable to upload a character profile to this site? I've never been able to get that feature to work right. My achievements upload fine, but that's all. Can't upload screenshots either. Seems unlikely since this problem has been since before Friday... but maybe it is related? I'd love to have a character profile on here, but it seems too much to hope for (that it would be caused by the auth server being down).

I am not sure if it is related... there's a post the General forum saying the Bioware Social Net will be down for some server updates late Tuesday night (US-Pacific time).  That's unrelated to the DLC issue, but it may address the profile stuff.

Yes I pondered about that too, as I said on Saturday I was never able to upload any character to my profile for some unknown reason.
