If not, I had a laugh singing it and making the pics with words under them in the vid.

LOL. You better post a link to them.

(Don't worry, it should be quite relevant to the topic!)

And for those with no patience to read back in the Thread, here are the lyrics of last night's anguish!

Over 80 hours, hours that I've been obsessing over in dark, perpetual agony. I sit curled up in fetal position, rocking my chair back and forth, refreshing the screen, muttering prayers to the Maker, waiting... waiting.

I hear the ticking of the clock
I'm lying here the room's pitch dark

I'm wondering where you are tonight
No answer on the forum
And the night goes by so very slow
Oh I hope that it won't end though
Annoyed

Till now I always got by on my own
I never really cared until I met Alistair
And now it chills me to the bone
How do I get you annoyed
How do I get you annoyed

You don't know how long I have wanted
To click the mouse and join the fight.
You don't know how long I have waited
and I was going to post it tonight.

But the ETA is still my unknown
and we love DAO but we are alone
Alone

("Alone" by Heart - Spoof)

You know, if they really don't want to support DA:O anymore they should at least disable having to log in to use the DLC, and just leave downloading it requiring an account with the DLC activated.

Actually they did have a say. They just decided to pass off the development to Obsidian. If I remember correctly it was BioWare's decision for it to have to be out for the holiday season. Lucasarts might of had a say but in the end BioWare was the one who had Obsidian doing the development and it was BioWare that allowed it to be rushed for the holiday season.

That makes ZERO sense.... why would Bioware be in charge of anything about someone elses IP once they stopped being the developer for it?

The only way for that i can see is if they already made a deal with LucasArts to have it done by the holydays and then Obsidian had to work under the deal after taking over, but even then LA could have easily allowed for more time when it was obvious the game wasn't ready.

KOTOR 2 was a decent game. It would of been amazing if it had been finished. This is why I havent even dared to look at Old Republic.

Well even with the borked ending (and the bugs) Kreia was still the best SW character since the Original Trilogy. Well the best with more then 2 lines of dialogue (Darth Maul was cool).

And now I have done that, I can go work and hope for the best. While dealing with customers in a way I would have hoped Bioware/EA would treat their customers. :P

But anyone see the irony of Alistair's first words to the player now? Cause I do.

"You know, one good thing about the Blight is how it brings people together."

Change Blight to Server down.

LOL :-). This is like one of those let's-save-Africa-from-starvation-songs, except we are talking about bioware servers. I like how the complaining over this subject now has spread to youtube.

If you have authorized your DLC once before the Weekend of Doom (ie, the last one), start the game, LOG OUT, resume game. DLC is enabled and working.

Tell that to my empty handed mage because Winter's Breath disapearred.

Good one!!  Way to raise our spirits. :)

back to the topic. So the "problem" hasn't been idenfitied, judging from the lack of updates.  As Alistair would have said it: "Maker's breath!"

What a suprise I played Origins (and have every bit of DLC available for it) on friday then came home and played on tuesday, what a great suprise. I was trying to finish up some DLC, quests. How the hell do you think I have the content in my saved game you won't let me load if I did not have an authorized account. This would not happen on StarCraft 2 or WoW.I know that alot of people still play Origins because it is great even though Dragon Age 2 released (own that too) You can't just dump DAO because DA2 is released PLEAE work it out. I payed EA alot of money for BIOWARES content.

It's only history anyway. I still felt a my respect for BioWare go down when they didn't do KOTOR 2 and given how KOTOR 2 turned out it was very sad they let the original KOTOR have a sequal like that.

And yes, that character rocked.

Eh. I'd like that but since I can't play I'll do something useful like studying. That is, if I can resist the refresh button lure (doubtful).

And the templars invoked the Right of Annulment, purging everything in the servers. The Bug Demon abominations were eliminated, along with every sane processes, threads and bytes inside.

I made the mistake, after finishing DA2, of downloading both 'Witch Hunt' and 'The Golems of Agnaraak (or however it's spelled)' last week (4/6 and 4/8) for my DA:Origins with the intention of playing them over the weekend. I didn't imagine that given that I ordered, paid for, and downloaded them FROM BioWare's SITE that they'd remain unauthorized for... five days now. Since I'd gotten 'witch hunt' authorized once, it will play offline, but after logging in every single day since last week I *still* can't get 'Golems' authorized. Would it have been too much to ask that you guys provide *us* with a code we could enter to authorize items which we paid for and downloaded directly from *you*? I still have BioWare Points floating around in limbo that it's clear that there's no point in spending as I won't be getting anything from those either as long as this problem persists (and I won't ever be recommending any of BioWare's downloadable content again). Sorry to be so rude but this has a lot of people really steamed.

Well joystiq picked it up now:

I think I am going to try and get my money back, I really just had a couple of days off and they are now gone, so frustrating!
