I'm having this problem too with the digital deluxe edition.

Most of my dlc is unauthorised despite already having achievements for it on my account, like rock and a hard place, diabolist etc, from my previous run throughs. Curiously the blood dragon armour IS authorised and working normally.

So it looks like its back to the BG series for the time being.

There is a thread on the PC tech board dedicated solely to DLC authorization problems. Many things apply to the Mac version as well...

Ooh, I'm so nice today I just dug it up for you... hope it helps:

I have created a group called "Clients with Unresolved DLC Issues - Dragon Age: Origins". The idea is to see if we have critical mass for escalating a response from EA and/or Bioware. If you have unresolved DLC issues with Dragon Age: Origins and want to be counted, consider joining this group. Just search for it in the groups tab.

I am new to forum groups so the helpful voice of experience is a welcome sound. Thanks and looking forward to positive change.

Sorry, everyone - I feel terrible for not updating this thread sooner. No excuse other than that life got busy and I forgot. Let the beatings commence.

The problem we experienced with our authentication servers was corrected on the April 13th and then we took them down during off-peak hours for a couple of 15-minute outages in the weeks that followed to perform some further tweaks and analysis.

It appears that some PC and Mac users continue to be experiencing authentication issues, despite the issue being corrected at the server level. Please join the PC discussion in the following two threads while we continue to investigate:
* http://social.biowar...8/index/7036701
* http://social.biowar...8/index/7137421

Thank you for your understanding and patience and, once again, I apologize for not updating this thread in a more timely fashion.

Thank you. Speaking of it, since a few days ago, when starting DA:O with automatic log-in, I always get a "Log-in failed, please try again" alert and have to log in manually. This is quite tedious, so most of the time I just keep logged out now. Does this have anything to do with the maintainance work?

BTW, the first link you posted has a "You don't meet the requirements..." flag at the top...

I made the second link clickable: http://social.biowar...8/index/7137421

That is also an issue we're seeing and investigating on the PC side. At this point I won't offer conjecture as to why it's occurring but at least it's just a nuisance rather than blocking issue. We are looking into it, however.

I'm running a mac, and I was Playing Dragon Age Origins. After running through the game once I decided to buy the Ultimate edition to get the content packs, but I haven't been able to get any of them to authorize. I tried one of the fixes that was posted (editing the addins.xml,) but that made the problem not much better. The only thing it changed that I could see was in talking to the guy who gives you the quest for Warden's Keep it didn't ask to download the content in the conversation, but let me finish the conversation and then didn't add Soldier's Peak to the map. The gifts are also not in the shop, etc.

I also tried de-authorizing the game at the splash screen menu, and then reauthorizing, but that didn't work. If I delete the AddIns.xml then the download content menu is completely empty and will not repopulate itself unless I copy the AddIns.xml back to it's proper location - which I thought was sort of strange.

There was an overwhelming amount of information here. I didn't try uninstalling and then reinstalling, but maybe I can try that tomorrow. Is there anything else I should try? I'm not sure what to do. Very frustrating.
