3. Fenris - great background story and his hot-headed opinions really add drama
4. Morrigan - her dry sarcasm is sorely missed
5. Anders - minus Justice and back to his normal Awakenings self
6. Isabella - adds some much needed spice
7. Alistair - I know he's king and all but he needs one last adventure.

Okay, so I got another idea that, again, wouldn't be possible for everyone.
What if that kid you got The Green Sword was a playable Warrior (with the Green Sword leveling up with him), and Feynriel being a party member, with his dreamer powers being his specilization?

I think we'll have to fight Sten if we don't submit to the Qun, or perhaps convince him that your way is the natural order of things, and that the Qunari are struggling against individualism.

Isabella might make a Cameo, but I have a hard time believing she'll be tied to one place. I can see her being a vehicle of choice if we are going to go Thedas hopping in the next game.

I love Shale, but I ran out of slots.

I like Wynn, but she's likely to be dead by the next game.

I'd like to see both the Warden and Hawke again. For companions, my favorite characters to see again are:
Alistair, Anders (DA:A or DA2, altho this could be, um, difficult for some), Varric, Fenris, Isabella, Cullen (yup, LOVED him in DA2; can't say it enough)

The Warden/Hawke: I'm kinda hoping for a four-act thing here, one with the new hero, one with Hawke, another with the Warden, and one last act where they all join up, with the Warden and Hawke being companions with personalities set by the previous acts.
Hawke's Love Interest: Why not? Varric said that they (in my case Fenris) never left Hawke, so if Hawke's a companion, their love interest should be one too. And I will NOT accept them being parted unless one of them was kidnapped by space aliens. And if that's the case, the other had better be tearing Thedas apart searching for them.
Carver/Bethany: Either a Grey Warden or a Circle Mage/Templar...that could be plot-important, since there's trouble on both ends.
VARRIC: And I want to be able to romance him this time!

Isabela: I ended up liking her a lot more than I thought I would. I'd love to have her back.

Varric- Because it won't be an epic legend without him.
Fenris- Despite the ending of the game, where I romanced Anders. Fenris did say hint he would never leave Hawke's side. Also as much as his unchanging hate for mages wore on me, I felt for him, and he is a loyal friend.
Zevran- We need more Zevran, pre DA 2 hit with the ugly stick.
Nathaniel- One day I will romance you!!!!
Morrigan- Warden and her were like sisters even though my warden was good to the bone.

I doubt it but I would love to have Wynne. I love her so much in origins, also she could help Anders not be so "ARRHHAHH I am angry."

Also I am sure Ogrhen would work his way in...I am surprised he wasn't in DA 2

...I notice a pattern in my favourite companions. They are either "The **** of the Party" (Morrigan, Fenris), "The Chilled of the Party" (Varric, Isabela, Zevran) and/or "The Most Definitely Bi"(Isabela,Zevran,Leliana).

I wonder why this is.

BioWare will make the best decision of who the companions will be, but here's my fan list.

My Magnificent Seven are:
- Morrigan - Plot relevence. Plus she was like a sister to my Tabris, and was my Cousland's lover

- Leliana - Plot relevence thanks to DA2

- Zevran - Comic relief. I imagine DA will get progressively darker with each installment, and I need a companion who will keep me from bashing the angsty characters' heads in.

- Isabela - Moar comic relief

- Varric - Super comic relief. And he makes sure Thedas remembers the exploits of [insert DA3 protagonist here].

- Merrill - semi-Plot relevance. The lore hints that magic, Tevinter, the Blights, Arlathan, and Flemeth are all somehow linked, so I imagine the Dalish may be important somewhere in DA3's plot.

- Fenris - Designated brooder

- [Dog] - summoned DA2 style, so it works.


The others aren't in my party because:
- Alistair is King

- Shale is killing pigeons somewhere

- Sten returned to Par Vollen

- Anders is dead (probably Wynne as well)

- Oghren, Nathaniel, Sigrun, and Carver are off Wardening

- Velanna got pissy and disappeared

- Arianne and Finn are best buddies adventuring around Thedas

- The Dace brothers went back to Orzammar ( I never cared for them anyway, so whatever)

- There was no room for Aveline in the list.

- Sebastian is Prince of Starkhaven


Except for the Dace brothers, if the DA3 party ends up something like this, then I'd like to see a cameo of the Non-companions.
