I'm sure all of you have seen the new armor is identical to the default set we had in ME2, does this mean that it's possible the rest of our equipment could be imported?

Thoughts?

I'm sure this would cause problems in choosing from the new weapons they introduce, but it would add a bigger list to choose from, increasing variety.

I'd love to see this feature implemented, it would really give me the feeling that I'm picking up where I've left off.

There's probably some plot event that takes them all away. Like the Alliance confiscates them all or something. I know they take the normandy for a bit.

Well the Mattock is coming back, so if random DLC weapons are coming back don't be surprised if you end up with all the weapons you had when you finished ME2.

BW introduced a lot more weapon models in ME2+DLCs. They would be crazy not to bring all of them back seeing as how these weapons are now part of the 'ME universe'. Try explaining why all of a sudden, we lose our heavy weapons and SMGs. It won't go down well for them. Easier just to keep all the old ME2 weapons and add new ones.

Im positive all the weapons from ME2 and its DLC will be in ME3, we've seen many of them in the screen shots, but its more difficult to say whether your exact arsenal will be importable from your save file, same goes for armor. The best evidence though that this could be the case is that we already know you start off with most your ME2 skill set and fully leveled up powers (unknown if its an exact precise import of your Shep or just a general default for each class), but if they're doing it for powers, with the emphasis on taking those existing power and evolving them further, and we already know that weapons can be moded and upgraded in ME3, than it stands to reason that starting you off with your full ME2 equipment load-out is sensible because you will be upgrading it quite a bit further through out ME3.

This. I shouldn't have had to waste $10 for items that are only available for one game when it's a continuous franchise.
