I was thinking that after the Arishok fight, the story looses some momentum. In Act 1, you are poor and raising money for the expedition. In Act 2, you are exploring the same city but you now have a house and some status. In Act 3, there's not much new to experience. You are just getting your final gear ready for the enevitable mage/templar fight.
Wouldn't it have been cool to have a new dungeon in Act 3 under Kirkwall. The city has a sinister past with Tevinter blood sacrafices, slave holding pens, and a torn veil to the Fade. They could have had both the mages and templars racing to explore the tunnels under Kirkwall for some item of power that would shift the balance in the coming conflict. Who you help is up to you. They could have had several missions down there as new areas opened up as the rivals searched the tunnels. You'd learn more about what the Tevinters were up to and more about what was causing so many mages to be corrupted.
Something like that in Act 3 would have helped alot and made the re-used environments more tolerable. I liked the game but it got a little stale at that point.
