Probably the American/Canadian Media (Fox) and even EA is whats holding BioWare back along with groups that monitors this kinda stuff in games.

This. Mass Effect 1 got it so right it was unreal, and yet, they have never duplicated that style since. Begs the question as to what the hell is going on up at Bioware as the romance scenes are just getting worse and worse.

This is all well and good I suppose, but in DA2 I had this image of a romance scene with the couple hopping in the sack, fully dressed in their armor

If we can't even talk about sex in games without succumbing to the childish tittering and winking and nudging, how can we expect to be able to view and/or play sex in a mature manner in games? Really, it's a matter of "this is why we can't have nice things."

And since the sex scenes in The Witcher are already being discussed elsewhere, I'm shutting this down as a redundant discussion.
