Possibly. Her works seem to be the ones that make the shift from vampires overpowering their victim's minds to being achingly beautiful.
I dunno, I thought that the whole "Carmilla" vampire thing predated Anne Rice by quite a bit.
Maybe. I'm no expert. But Anne Rice certainly seemed to popularise it to me.
