I am trying to upload my chr but everytime it says that I have to be logged into a bioware account and I am logged in.  I am logged in as we speak but unable to upload my info.  Please assist.

Are you logged in on the character creator, or on the site? You need to be logged into your account on the Creator itself, rather than here.
If you are, then I don't know what the problem is.

Just fyi, the "log in" for the CC is on the lower left corner of the main page.

I have the same problem that's been mentioned by several previous posters: I am unable to log in within the game at all; the button remains greyed out for me no matter what.

I get the character portrait as mostly a black shadow with some character detail as I spin the character around over the black silouette. The workaround was to go into graphic options and turn off frame buffer effects. Works nicely now. The game  may not be supported on a laptop though.

Video card:8800m GTS 512MB RAM
Windows Vista 32bit
3GB system RAM
CPU:Intel T5450
Video driver: Nvidia 186.81

My saved characters change their facial structures sometimes which is really annoying. Also, ALL of my saved dalish elves turns into the SAME character.

when i first attempted to upload my characters, they did so without any image files, so i deleted them and tried again, with no joy. i actually deleted the characters from my PC and remade them, now nothing will upload at all. the creator says that the upload has been done, but nothing will appear on my characters page.



whats the go there?

I made my char several times and saved it.
When i click online profile and im both logged at website and CC and waited hours it always says:

Data is updated as frequently as possible - progress in-game may take up to an hour to appear here.

Pls help cause i already pre-order it

Uploaded my characters 2 days ago, but they only show with an empty, black box. Any idea what I should try now?

LOL..one of the two I did two days ago JUST now appeared, the other is still missing, whereas the third one I created today appeared is there aswell...go figure!

I am running windows 7 64-bit, AMD Phenom II X 4 810 processor, 2.60 Ghz, 8 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4200.



Everything runs great with the program up until I try to upload. I can log in with no problem but, when I go to upload info it soon gives me this message. "A server error occurred while attempting to access your online profile storage" there is an "OK" button below but the "upload Info" bar is covering it. The only way for me to exit is be pressing the windows key on my keyboard.

OK, I found out where to find my character once it has been uploaded. Now the problem is that there is no image. Just a black background with no character image. Do I just have to wait to it to load?

When trying to upload, I had a typo in my email address during login. I cannot get back to the email address field to correct it.

Just because you have saved your character in the creator doesnt mean that it has uploaded it, make sure you are logged in, in the creator and at the last screen where you saved your charater, cloick the button that says 'Upload Info' this button is on the right hand side of the screen

NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS
Intel Core Duo CPU 2,50 GHz
3070MB RAM

I really hope this can be solved because with these shutdowns during the actual game I would give up and wouldn't torture my laptop anymore.
I keep my faith in you, guys.

Beards force certain cheek/jaw facial structures to reset

I'm not sure if this counts as a technical issue, but the eye color feature doesn't work in the character creator, at least not for me. I'm running Windows Vista Service Pack 2 64-bit OS on my laptop, if that helps.

The client's been crashing on me, now, too. I wonder if it's a laptop thing?

hmm, it appears logging out of the bioware social site, reuploading my characters, and then logging back into the social site fixed my problem.
