It runs fine, but on creating my second character I have noticed that his appearance doesn't save. I click save, go back into him to re-edit and his looks have been changed completely.

One issue i noticed was that when i alt-tabbed back to my desktop it sort of worked, but the char creator was still on display, but i couldn't click on anything. Although the icon pointer was changing as though it was hovering over some windowing element on the desktop. Trying to alt+tab back or ctrl+esc/windows key did nothing to resolve the problem. It was just lucky i know the shortcut keys to shutdown the machine so i didn't have to hard reset it. Have switched to running non-full screen now.

Specs:

ATI 4850, 4x AF 4x AA, XP SP3, 4 Gigs ram, C2D 8500

Char Creator running at : 1280x1024.

I uploaded two characters and only the portrait of the second one is on the site. All the other information on both characters did upload. Maybe the problem with my first character is that she is a dalish elf with a tattoo. Others have mentioned a problem with the tattoos in another thread.

After trying everything I can think of on the laptop, I'm switching over to my desktop which isn't much better than my other laptop who couldn't run it.



I have few hopes for it, but it's worth a shot...

ok, my graphical issues with the CC have been fixed by re-updating my video card drivers. so far its working great.

Runs but,
No buttons have any text,
Only thing I can change is the head model - no other sliders available
Only one origin available - all others are grey out.


Update,
Rebooted computer - won't run at all now.

Runs fine, but the sound glitches, and on the voice selection for the character, often a click results in no sound. Vista x64, Q6600, 4GB, 8800GT

Took me a long time to get past the verification code (had to trick it by constantly refreshing) and finally got in.



Seems the name verification is down as I put in the exact password I have and says it is invalid ... so had to make a new one. Oh well.

Solved by giving all manual permission to DAO's exe in my commodo firewall (both launcher and CC itself).
Was very wierd cos as usual commodo asked me the permissions at launch and i gaved them, but didn't worked.

Runs, but for some reason when I save my male Dalish Rogue and go to edit him later, his face tattoo is always the wrong one than what I set, and his portrait settings fall back to default. I don't have this problem with any of the other characters I created.

Beards seems to have issues, you can change the face shape with no beard selected but if you chose the third one the face locks to a shape but you still see through the sideburns but you can fix the cheekbone hight with the first one though. Not sure how it is supposed to work so I don't know if it is bug or not.

I noticed there is no way to set your last name?

Last the heads have a dark rough border around them that shows up against most of the backgrounds.

I'm assuming the skill section is part that will be avalibe once the full game is installed?

Other than that got everything working:)

My dalish elf portrait finally uploaded but with a tattoo that I did not select. It is not a big deal.



As for the last names, they are set for each origin. You cannot change them which might bother some but I like the fact that they are preset.

I'm getting the same problem as Mesolo, but I'm not running a firewall, so I have no idea why my log in/create account buttons would be logged out. Vista x64, english, Anyone else have some insight? I've tried reinstalling, all combinations of being logged in/out on here while trying to use it, and I am getting nothing.

Express install did not work so I tried custom it didn't work either BUT I then hit the back arrow/button and re-tried express and it worked.

Having the same issue.  Also having the issue with the tattoo on the Dalish Elf changing after save.

2. mouth and cheek options are "deactivated", dont get a chance to change them.

My saved characters don't keep the facial dimensions I choose unless they were made using preset #1. Characters made using any preset but the first revert to the first when opened after saving. Their skin/hair options remain intact, though, except for tattoos.

Got my problem fixed after reinstalling to a different drive partition.
