I cant upload. It flashes upload info, then times out then keeps flashing. PC more than meets system spec requirements.

I downloaded character creator but I can't see any writing, no words??

All I want is the ring. I use xbox and I can't even use my char creator character anyway.

To me it works pretty well (PS3).

I turned off antivirus and firewall, launch the creator, made a character, upload, and in a few second for the first time in days it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!! And now i have the lucky ring, so it still avaiable!!!

Be patient and keep trying!

Oh so I should take it out of full screen? I wondered about that.

I've uploaded it a second time, but i get the same result. It opens fine, shows the trailer, blood dragon looks good, and it goes to the menu screen. I click on "New Character" and it opens up into the loading screen. The celtic lookin swirly thing spins a little, and then it freezes. A few seconds later, screen goes off, then shows black screen with the mouse pointer for DA (which i can move). It goes off and back to black several times, then a minute or two later my computer resets on its own. I'm running Windows Vista on a factory spec Acer Aspire 5920. I've run it as administrator, and turned off user control, but I still get the same result. No error message, no flashing icons sayin corrupt or missing file. Just off, black, off, black (about 2 seconds between each switch). I would love to create my char and upload it, but i can't. What can I do oh great and awe-inspiring Bioware?

P.S.: Could Bioware actually contact me with a response? either email, or dm here to my profile, or (*gasp* heaven forbid) actually a response on this forum so others with a similar problem can correct it. The customer service here is absolutely horrible from Bioware. I mean, gettin friendly neighbors to help is nice, but most are too busy playin the game (and i don't blame them at all, its not their job to provide technical support, its yours, Bioware). I'm callin you out on this negligence of your customers needs. If I am mistaken and this isn't bein watched by Bioware mods and tech support, then let me know. I will apologize with complete sincerity.

The same thing happened to me. I managed to upload my character after changing the display to 800x600 windowed mode. I finaly got my lucky stone after so many ridiculous attempts to upload my character.

Every 30 min. exactly, my game throws me back to my desktop scene and I have to restore it, and it does it again 30 min. later. It only happens when I play games, PC version. Anybody have a clue on what might be the solution to this problem.

I read someplace that happens when the game is trying to upload screen saves or specs. Try going into options and turning off the auto uploads. This seemed to work for me.

Runing 32-Bit Vista.

I keep getting bluescreened.

Screen goes black, flashes, the cursor disapears, about 2 mins go by and then the blue screen appears warning me of a crashdump...is this normal?

Same problem as a lot of others, so they might as well get rid of the upload info button as it does absolutely nothing, everytime I press it all that happens is I get a server error accessing your online profile storage message and the upload info message just keeps on flashing going nowhere real fast. Real waste of time.

Mine works fine but when i try to upload i allways get an error saying that couldnt access my online storage.

"Unable to detect video drivers" i understand this means i have to update my graphcis card or whatever, can you please give me a link or instructions to where i have to go or what i have to do?

It does this evertytime I try to log in after selecting a character. The solution (worked for me):
1) Start the CC
2) LOG IN before selecting/adding any char
3) if you didn't get 'cannot conect' error - add/modify and upload

does anybody know why when i try to use the characer creator most of the modifications turn the portrait a shade of read?

Same problem here, are they going to patch the CC so that we can upload characters created, or at least get the profile storage working properly to allow the upload.  So far I have not been able to upload one character, keep getting the same old error message.

I'm hitting the same error on a Compaq laptop running Win7, an AMD processor, 4GB Ram and an NVIDIA graphics chip.

cant install due to SQL.  I am very good with computers.  I Did the manual version and still nothing.  
Ill wait for a patch, but I am kinda ticked about this whole turn of events
