I've noticed that if you log in to your account at the opening screen of the CC before attempting to change or create a character it seems to alleviate many of the uploading timeout errors.



I just had a couple of friends test it out about a dozen times each from different computers, internet connections, etc..., first logging in from the opening screen and then logging in after going through the creation process. It only hung up once when logging in at the opening screen, while it hung almost every time if logging in after editing/reviewing a character.

Hello. My problem is this. I creatd a dwarf warrior, uploaded him. Started the game and there where 2 problems. The first which might be a bit stupid is that i didn't get the ring that was said as a bonus if you imported a chhar from character creator. But the second one that is the serious one is although i created a dwarf fighter, when i log into my bioware personal page, it says that i imported a mage who also has a different name than the one i game my original warrior. Could someone please be kind to help me out in this?

Unable to log on via CC.

When I try to log on I get the "terms of service" and need to accept those, then a nice pop up tells me that "the following supplied information was invalid: password - Please try again".
Now if I misspell the password I don't get the "terms of service", it immediatly tells me that the password  wrong and I have no problem logging on to the website even my xbox upload my character info without problems.

I just want a lucky stone...

btw can I upload a character from CC to my xbox anybody know if that works??

I made a character in character creator, uploaded it, and I can NOT see this character in game.  Used character creator on my laptop running Vista x64, playing DOA on a desktop running Win7 x64.

Please help!!

I created a dwarf and elf and the game will not save the game. Also it is in the paused mode when I'm at the end of the opening part. Any Idea's what I can do. The Human character is fine and it plays ok.

Ive uploaded characters from the character creator and it never gave me the Lucky Stone(ring). Is there any other way i can get it other then trying constantly over and over again till it finaly gives it to my DLC list?

All I get is a notification that my it failed to find a supported video card, okay so which ones are supported? I searched and found nothing. I would really like to use the software.

Just downloaded the lucky stone, turned off firewall, uploaded the char at the CC then opened the game, ran daupdate and the ring appeard

I have the Xbox 360 version of the game, and when I read about the Lucky Stone I thought I'd try the CC and get my hands on this nifty item. So yesterday I downloaded and installed the CC on my PC (which runs Windows 7), and today I tried to create a character and upload it. Two things consistently go wrong:



- when creating a character, it does not save any of the following: tattoo, portrait background, voice. A few times I tried to modify and save the character, but the ruddy thing flat-out refuses to save these traits.



- when attempting to upload the character I made (despite the flaws it has regarding the first problem), the CC seems to get stuck on the "uploading info" bit.. after a while I stepped away from the computer, but 45 minutes later it was still on that same screen. I ended up shutting down the program by right-clicking the icon on the taskbar.



Any insight on how I can get this ruddy thing to work?

I got an error with my first download of the CC and simply reinstalled it will no problems. I already owned and installed DA Os and had finish one origin story and was almost done with a second when i decided to download the CC to see if i could make more customized character features.  Unfortunately now I cannot adjust the eye color in either the original game or the CC?  Any idea as to why would be most appreciated. I'd hate to unistall and reinstall my entire game just to see blue eyes again

I uninstalled the Character Creator since I didn't need it anymore.

In turn, it deleted my entire Screenshot folder. I am pretty peeved right now. Any idea why this would have happened? There was no warning to this at all.

I downloaded the character creation demo last night to try to get that ring but I haven't gotten it after creating a character and starting a game with it.



Also I noticed that after I changed a character's hair I would be unable to edit their "mouth" and "jaw/cheaks." If I want to change mouth and jaw first and then go back to hair it would reset the character's mouth and jaw to the first default settings. It did this in the character creater demo and is also doing it in the actual game. I haven't attempted to make a character since I made my Human Noble Artais back in November. Is this a known bug? If so how can I fix/avoid it or is there going to be a patch fix for it. I'm almost done with my first playthrough and I'd really like to start a new character afterwords.

I downloaded the creator just fina and I have created a few characters but when I try to upload nothing changes on ,y character profile. I was told I could upload it to the website and then download it from the website onto my xbox 360, but it won't even upload to the website.

that happened to me the first time too but now its really quick at "uploading info". the problem is it doesnt actually upload anything my online profile still shows no characters

When I try and upload my character, it tells me it times out or I can't access online storage. Finally, when I got my character uploaded there is no portrait displayed and I can not use it for my profile photo, is there a way to fix this?

Same I can never upload a character, always time out and there is no security software/hardware blocking it.

I got DAO on Xbox 360 and I got a question: is there a way to get my PC elves ears to bend away from the head like Zev and Shianni? Or is that impossible on the 360?

Downloaded character creator demo, got windows 7, runs really slow and i can not see the text on the buttons can any anyone help?



or is there an alternate way to get the ring?

installed the character creator, but when i try to launch it, nothing happens.(no PhysX harware I run an nVidia 6800 GT - Vista Sp2 32 bit)

im on xp sp3 9500gt nvidia card. it installs perfectly but when try to run it the video has some black line flashing at the almost top. when it ends and loads i cant even get to the main menu, the screen turns black then the resolution go wack i think it goes to 800x600 or something then a message pop sort of pops up i cant make all it out cause it partly covered. it say something about when computer restarts do you want to send error message, then it freezes on me. the only thing i can do now is press the reset button or turn my computer off. then the second time i had the blue screen of death well it flashed up then the computer restarted. after that i stop and here i am. i can play the game its self perfectly fine though. i have no idea whats going on. can someone help or has some figured it out or has this hapen to someone else? well im going back the game now i'll check back later.
