I logged in and tried to upload my character, but for some reason it doesn't appear on my characters page. Almost sure I did everything right....

Minor but when I tried to modify a character then go to the 'Portrait' segment it's reset to default. unless I choose the portrait segment then go back to character select then choose the same character while 'Portrait' is defaulted (as in the first tab that shows rather than the Preset tab) where the original portrait that I created actually shows.

I can't upload my character. It says there was problem connecting to my account. I am logged in via the game though, and then the message Upload Info keeps repeating so I am unable to click the on message shown in the background.



Also, it appears that the beards on humans are "floating" a bit from the face, kinda like a mask that hangs from the ears

After making my first character, I clicked on the Modify/Delete button and the program froze. Restarted the application and it worked fine.



Whenever I go to edit I also get several things defaulted. Gets a little annoying especially after finding that perfect expression.

If i try to upload another character it gets a message "server error ocurred while trying to access your online profile storage". Besides this the CC stays in upload modus, so i can´t do anything anymore and have to kill it via task manager.

Ok, problem solved for me by deselecting (set as 0) the Full Screen option from the DAOCharacterCreator setup file in the Dragon Age folder, under Documents. Very strange...

Looks like it's been mentioned already, but someone should shed some light on the details.



Alt-tabbing does not work while modifying your character, but works fine at the last screen where you can upload and save your character. It also works fine before entering the character creator section too, such as the options or starting menu.

Same as Jeffjor but I am running vista 32bit, sp2, athlon 64x2 dual core 5200, nvidia gts 8800, 4 gigs ram

I try to upload my character to the social network, but when I click upload it says I have to be logged in to my BioWare/Ea account, which I am.

Edit: Fixed. Didn't see the Log In button in the character creator.

Well.....i don't know if this is the right place to ask this, and sorry for the noobish question but....



When i start the CC the menu appears, with all the buttons (Play, Uninstall, etc.). And there's the Character Creator button, but it's red and i can't use it. And when i hit Play, a message appears: "Failed to detect a supported video card". I have a Radeon 9600.

I can launch the CC and create characters, but I cannot log in (the log in button just remains grayed out even after putting my info in), therefore I cannot upload. Also, I cannot save characters. It says that they are saved but then when I go back to the FE it doesn't list any.

Hm. This is the first time I've seen it happen. One of the characters (Nala; Dwarf Commoner) I uploaded to the site pops in as having no avatar pic and there isn't even an avatar in her character/info page either. Just blank space. I'll try to upload her again via edit/modify and give it a bit more time.

The sound bits can occasionally de-sync from the facial expressions (and the battle cries/yells don't have any at all - but I think this is intentional).



Other than that, everything runs smooth as butter for me. I love it.

I'm having this same issue.

Had graphical artefacts to the left when creating character. Updated cataclysm drivers to the latest version. Now game locks up after pushing "Next" after choosing eyes and jaws and stuff.

Program installed successfuly, I get the menu splash screen.
When I click on PLAY I get a new smaller splash screen, a large black box opens up, then I get the Windows message about the program encountering a problem and the option to send the report to Microsoft. Tried different screen resolutions, no difference.

Similar setup, but with an Nvidia 8800 GTX, and I had the same problem. However, once I stopped my Spyware Doctor program from running, I was able to run the character creator just fine.

Like others above, cannot login with email/password (states that it's invalid). I didn't try my EA account because currently the link between my Bio account and EA account is broken (see Bio website help post for info)
