My problem cleared up when I edited/modified and then reuploaded.

Tried to upload after creating a Human Mage and got a "Your filename is considered a profanity" error. Weird thing is that the error message is out of focus. What's in focus is an "Uploading" dialog box that won't go away and I can't escape from.

Express install did not work so I tried custom it didn't work either BUT I then hit the back arrow/button and re-tried express and it worked.

you're a genius. i was having probs installing, tried this & it's all good.

I'm having the exact same issue.  Check out my original pic, and at the bottom what I look like when clicking modify/delete after I had saved my character.

I have a graphical corruption down the left hand side. I guess it's the same as what other people are describing, but no-one's posted a screeneshot. This is mine:



I'm running Vista Ultimate 32bit SP2 using Boot Camp with drivers from the Snow Leopard CD on a MacBook Pro 2,1 (2.33GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 256MB Radeon X1600).

For those with the graphical problem, I had the same problem (Im using bootcamp as well, somnolentsurfer). Downloading the newest drivers for my video card (for windows of course) solved the problem.

I'm having the same graphical problem with the left hand side. Tried updating the drivers for my graphics card but no luck. 256MB ATI Radeon X1300PRO.

So on the graphical issue, I updated using just the wdm integrated driver from the ATI webpage (Driver version 8.55) but it didn't work. Then I downloaded their Catalyst Software Suite which contained Driver version 8.59 and some other programs. Either the newer driver in the package, or the extra programs fixed the problem for me. This might solve the problem for some of you that the updated driver isn't working.

The only issue I have had is that saved Dalish and Dwarven characters have their tattoos change when I check up on them again.

Got my problem fixed after reinstalling to a different drive partition.

Yes! Precisely. This is exactly my issue, my one and only issue. It happens with any character that starts from any preset other than the first on the slider.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 RTM (Build 7600)
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz
nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX
Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi
Seagate Barracuda 500 GB (~40 GB free)

Also, this forum doesn't handle quotes-withn-quotes.

When playing sound bites the mouth resizes (bassicaly it explodes to about 80% larger) completely then slowly morphs back. So far I've only noticed it on elf females... havnt checked the others.

I turned off Spyware Doctor and the trailer plays when I click on Play. Not have to figure out why the PC keeps locking up during character gen. Never would have thought that it was part of the problem.

The first character I created and uploaded didn't actually seem to upload. There's this weird box where the portrait should be that has my characters name under it and when you click on it it takes you to a character viewing screen that has no info. Every other character I've made has shown up fine. Just not that first. I will try to re-upload and see if it appears later.

Also, my human mages beard appears to be hanging about 2 inches from his face. The beard doesn't touch his cheeks.

I downloaded the driver from ATI, first the driver only and then the full Catalyst suite. Niether of them fixed the problem, but they have vomitted garbage all over my system tray. It's nearly 5am, so maybe I'll have another go and pay more attention to version numbers and stuff sometime tomorrow.

I tried to log in so I could upload my character, but I can't use the On-Screen Keyboard to fill in the fields >> (I am missing an A, S, W, and Z key, and can't type my email without the s or a).

Same here. A "Cancel" button would be a good idea.

My uploaded character creation picture has not come up yet-_- I just check and it has been atleast 10 hours since I last checked it-_- whats the deal? I hit the upload thing and got no error message behind it,was loged in to this account and waited for the word Upload to disappear and waited well over an hour and nothing.
