Going through it again actually I had no problem at all with it. I made a Human Noble. Though I do wonder why if I use any of the beard options, I cant change the mouth and cheeks.

I had no problems at all with it yesterday - it ran great, and I created and uploaded a few characters, but now when I open the program again, all I get are some floating white heads. I'm using the most up-to-date drivers for my card, so i'm not sure what the problem could be.

The character creator works great for me, but I'd love to be able to delete characters from my profile. I have two copies of the same character because I accidentally fiddled around with the face (making her uglier in the process) and slightly changed the name, thinking I could just delete the character afterwards.

My characters don't seem to be uploading to the site - it's been probably about twelve hours since I tried the first one, and six since I tried the last one.

I did get a "DragonAge character creator upload confirmation" email some time after the first one, but nothing is appearing on the site.


edit: how incredibly odd. I checked right before I made this post, to make sure nothing was there. After I posted, I checked my profile again, and my picture was available for selection.

One of my characters was uploaded with out a visual representation or avatar. I do not have any clue as to why because my first character uploaded without flaw.  All the stats seem to be there, just no physical representation. This is the character.

One a side note, i have tried uploading the character again once i found this problem. Still no luck.

Yeah something is wrong with tatoos. I picked a Dalish Elf and removed the default tattos. But the final profile shows the tatoos.

I'm having identical change of tattoos with my dalish elf. I picked the same one as you and every time it changes in the same way. Maybe it is a problem only with this particular tattoo.

I've been having a few graphics issues, looks like 16bit color in the loading screen and main menu, intro video isnt that hot either colourtation issues mainly (though they may be lo fi to keep the filesize down),
and a pretty noticeable amount of lag in the chargen screen.
Turning the character round horizontally seems to miss a few quite a few frames, but seems to work fine when rotating from vertical position (looking at character from below and above).
Moving the mouse from the character to the settings (hair, skin etc) makes things go a bit glitchy, as well as when the mouse passes over the gaps between the sliders.  This happens in the appearance sliders and the magic/talents pages.

I'm also having that niggly tatto reset issue btw, seems to reset to random tattoo on saved characters

Another strange thing is that performance seems to improve when AA is raised to 8x as opposed to none which is a bit weird...

Not sure whats up but i can guarantee that my pc can eat this game for breakfast judging from the given specs

My forceware settings include enhanced application settings for AA @ 16Q (though I tried the creator without too)

Everything is fine with the cc itself just the intromovie. My computer starts to make a really hard sound, beeping really hard. That was the first time I loaded the cc. Now that I load it just beeps a couple of times at the start but that's it.



Don't know if that could be a cc error or my pc's error :/

Also getting the graphical mess on the left side of the screen. If I alt-tab out and back in it changes its appearance in colour and arrangement. I noticed that on the stat allocation page with a certain arrangement of graphical crap when I add stats it would create a small amount more crap for each new stat point I would add, but taking the stat point back would not remove the new graphical crap.



Also the character portrait goes back to the default expression when I go to modify a character.

Cannot log in from char creator: system error. I'm trying to log in by using working EA account info (same that worked here) but no succes.

Everything works great, but when I first rebooted my computer after using the character creator, the desktop resolution was set to 1080x720 (which is what the character creator sets the game to as the default). It's trivial to change it back, but it should not be messing with my desktop settings.

It could. I am after all  having the exact same problem. I made this handsome devil and saved him properly. When I loaded him up again his face was all gaunt and hollow leaving it more or less destroyed. The portrait was reset, too.

Everything workshops in the creator. It said uploaded but i cant se my char here in the profile

False alarm, I didn't see the "Upload" button beneath my portrait at the last screen!
Maybe make it flash or something?

I'm having the same problems with tattoos as previously mentioned, but it's affecting dwarves as well as daelish elves
