i am having a graphics error. in the character creation screen. wrong pixel thing. hard to explain. it's a block that covers about half the screen.

i have intel 2.16 dual core and  an ati 1600 card on XP SP3 (at least it should be installed with windows you never know...)

For everyone having issues with eye color, go into the options and turn up the graphical settings. There is no eye color on the 'low' setting.

You need to use the email address associated with your account, not your forum name, I think.

Interestingly, I installed the character creator here at work, and it works fine. I saw Jasperre had the same issue... wonder if this is a toolset beta conflict....

It always sets back to default expression and voice for me.<br />

Also, the characters with default tattoos (Dalish elf & Dwarf commoner) always reset as well. I have no problem saving the other tatts (Human/Alienage & Dwarf noble), though.<br />

(Running otherwise perfectly on highest settings on a Vista laptop with Intel Core Duo 2 P8700 (2.53 GHz), Nvidia GeForce GT 130M (2 GB) & 4 (well, 3) GB RAM. I expect having to reduce the settings a bit for actual gameplay, though.)

edit: There happened a minor miracle when I updated my main char - the expression was saved (muted, so dunno about voice) and in my utter joy I naturally uploaded him again and here he is, enjoying himself. However when I tried the others (and then checked him again) the problem was back. Color me confuddled.

Furthermore, by now I've uploaded one more char, but all I see are her stats; no pics whatsoever.

It seems like the upload function of the CC has problems with the ` sign. I uploaded my Teresa´de´ three times now, and the upload dies every time. Others work just fine.

Vista SP2 2gb ram 1.90ghz processor. 512mg intergrated graphics



two issues



1.) pixel distortion on the live display of the character while customizing the character. And during the modify/delete character tab. Might be graphics card, tried running windowed, still didnt fix the problem





2.) when i click the log in button the GUI that pops up only has one clickable button "close" the "log in" and "create account" buttons are dull grey. the "what's this?" link works as does the "manage account/forgot password"



I logged in yesterday, and tried uploading my stats. in the background of the final creation tab where it has the option "upload" the screen darkens and says "uploading info" then about 30 seconds late a screen appears in the background BEHIND the "uploading info" screen that says "failed to communicate with online profile storage"

Hello i don't know why i get this message when i try to upload my character "The requested player is not a member of the BioWare community or does not have any Dragon Age data." and in the actual Character creator it says i have to be logged in but i am logged in that weird.



It crashed like only 6 times as well. other then that i love it cant wait. my bad for the double post but i want this game to succeed.( and want the issues to be resolved)



System specs:



GTX 285 FTW EVGA (Stock clocked @ 720)

e6600 clocked @ (3.3 ghz)

ddr2 dominators @ (1066) mhz 4 gigs of ram

64 bit os vista sp2

maxed out setting running character @ 150 frames per second ( thats normal when not gaming) @ native resolution 1680 x1050

well I doubt you will need my system specs for this but i'm having trouble re uploading my character profile. I felt like making a few tweaks to him and when I go to upload his info I get an error message after a few moments.. I assume this is because he's already on the site but I still would like redo him.

ps) forgot to mention that it stays stuck on the error message. Only why for me to go back on it, is to shutdown the program and restart it.

I downloaded the thing a couple of times but it keeps saying my graphics card is unsupportive. I am pretty sure my graphics card falls under the minimum requirements for the game but I guess not. Does this mean I cannot get the extra content for DA:O? .... My pc just isn't good enough....

I modified one of my characters on CC and uploaded it after that. It was yeasterday and her new portrait hasn't showd up yet in here. It's the very same character that I now use as my avatar.



Is the portrait of this character supposed to change to a new one or is there going to come a new picture to choose from on the profile page? Neither have happened now.

ERROR when hitting the play button on the creator main page stating:  
d3dx9_36.dll not found reinstall to fix,    which I have 3 times from different locations..

The program itself runs perfectly for me, luckily (using the Win7 RC, which is reassuring). But:

1) Portrait, voice, and stat allocation reset when modifying characters.
2) Dalish elf female tattoos are not saved properly. No matter what I pick, the character selection screen shows a jumbled mess of two different tattoos and a splash of turqouise.
3) A few of the shorter hairstyles (the chin-length ones, not the ones with the hair pulled back) show a small "hole" in the mesh near the right eye when used with an elven woman.
4) Increasing ear size and height causes lots of clipping issues with many hairstyles.

It would also be nice to have less washed-out portraits, and if eye colors were more easy to distinguish. Blue, gray and green plus mixed shades are damn hard to tell apart.

My problem is I tried to use my Bioware login instead of my ea one and it didn't like it. Now it won't allow me to change my email. (I think both accounts use the same email as well)

I have been trying to upload a character since yesterday and the only thing that happens is a message that states "There was an error when trying to access your online storage" or something to that effect.



I can log in via the game, no problems. I have merged my Bio account to the EA Master Account. I can log in to the Social site, to the Bio forums, to EA and through the game, what else do I need to do to be able to upload a character??? I really hope that there is not another place that needs an account...

still cant log in, and ive unistalled it and reinstalled it. Still nothing. Im connected to the internet otherwise i would not be albe to post on here. 

I logged in yesterday when i first downloaded and installed the CC. 

Oh and btw Ive created a character type for every single class/specialization both male and female
