Do you have any non-alphanumeric characters in your password?  If you do, this is probably the same problem I mentioned earlier in the thread.  The Character Creator seems to have a problem with symbols in passwords.

If you don't mind, would you try changing your EA password to something using only alphanumeric characters and posting back here whether or not that lets you log in from the CC?

I've been successfully logging in, and attempting to upload my characters. There are no error messages, so it looks like everything's fine, but no uploads are appearing in my profile here. I've attempted to upload several times with multiple characters over the last 18 hours or so... still no success.

I'm having the same problem. I've made several characters over the past day, 6-7 or so, but i cant seem to upload any to the site. I've relog in the CC and on the social site a few times, and nothings happened, just keeps telling me "Data is updated as frequently as possible - progress in-game may take up to an hour to appear here".

Any help would be wonderful :S, since im at a lost, its been more then a few hours already.

I've tried reuploading my human several times and when I check my profile. The other two characters are there, but he is a little gray line that shows no stats when I click on it. However, if I click 'Go back to my persona' I can see all 3 of them and clicking on him properly displays his stats.

I keep getting unsupported video card, I checked all the drivers and their up to date but the I can't find anything that tells me what the min requirements are. Any chance they have the CC for xbox?!?

Afraid not. PC only. The system requirements should be over at the official Dragon Age site in the faq section. You can check if your graphics card meets the requirements there I believe.

You were bang on, thank you for that.  I hadn't read the entire thread - or any of the forum for that matter..  I suppose I should have searched first, but had no idea where to start.  Pass me a tissue please?  So I can wipe the egg off my face?

I had saved my character but there's no upload option now that I'm logged in. However, the character didn't save correctly. The name and stat changes are correct, but the face is not right - the tattoo and other changes were not saved.  I'll chalk it up to not having been logged in when I did it earlier.  I'll report back if the problem happens again after creating a new character.  Thanks again!

Just a strange problem I noticed. Apperantly I can add as many characters as I want (so far I have 8) however the ones I have deleted have not been erased from my profile though they are quite gone from the character creator. Might just take a little more time I can believe BioWare is pretty backed up but I did delete one of them last night.

This may have been answered before but it wont let me log in to upload my character when i hit the button on the bottom left and enter my log in info the login button doesnt work its darkened.

I am unable to go back to erase an incorrect email address login without completely exiting the creator first.

Count me in as another person with the Dalish Elf tattoo mash-up when editing my character.

I have also just apparently 'timed out while accessing my online storage', but the OK box is behind the Uploading box (which hasn't gone away), and I have no option other than to ctrl-alt-del my way out of the CC.


Edit:
after some experimenting, i found that i was able to re-upload my characters for the male human mage, female city elf, and female human noble without a hitch.
i then tried my male dalish elf again. this time, i DIDN'T correct the tattoo mess-up clicked through to the end and clicked upload. it worked fine.
i then tried the dalish male again but correcting the tattoo mess to my originally chosen tattoo, clicked through, clicked upload and the creator said i'd timed out again and I had to ctrl-alt-del.

so it only seems to be a problem with the Dalish when fixing their tattoo. Go figure

I'm seeing the changing tatoo issue with a dwarf commoner. I have dalish elf and mage elf characters who keep their tatoos just fine, but the dwarf always changes to a different tatoo setting when I leave the editor.

Then it has the ok button behind the flashing 'upload info' bar so I cannot click it and have to hard close it.



Oh and then the character gets uploaded but without its portrait...any guesses?

Luckily, I 've had no issues.

Though if I could, if feasible, I would like to request two features if the Character Creator is going to be updated.

•        The ability to copy previously created characters in the creator. I already figured I can copy *.chr, *.jpg, and *.xml files to duplicate a character, and requires a little bit of editing the *.xml and most importantly the *.chr to a in application name change.
•        Changing class, on a previously saved character, should not reset the character's face.

Thank  you Bioware for making the character creator available before launch, and for it being top notch.

Uploads don't seem to be working this evening... tried to upload 3 or 4 of them, and seemed to go fine. There's no record of them on the recent history screen though.

I am having the same problem Valmy, but my character isnt being uploaded is there any answer to this?

I was able to create three unique characters and they saved correctly, however they do not seem to upload to my account. I logged into my account successfully, but when I click "Upload", it says it's uploading and I receive no error, yet I don't see them in my account. I uploaded after I created the characters yesterday, and then I went into the characters again today (via the modify section) and tried uploading them again...still not seeing them.

Running on Vista 64

EDIT: My characters are finally on my profile...2 minutes after this posting. If an admin did something, thank you.

I have the exact same issue.

I even made sure my EA Master Account settings used my BioWare login as master.

I've tried at least a dozen times and get the exact same results.

The character info got  uploaded but no portrait.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  (I want my Lucky Stone!)

Hey, i go to create a new char, but it freezes up at the load screen, and blacks out. first time it went back to the desktop, second time i got blue screened. my laptop told me to go to this lenovo website to update my video driver, all four drivers that were available at that site were no good. Each time i downloaded and tried to run the installer for the driver, it said my specs werent up to par. I would like to try out this char creator, but I can't seem to get past the load screen. Any ideas?

I also have the tattoo reset problem with my dalish elf and also the background and expression on my portraits reset to neutral but otherwise everything seems to work properly.

For my female human mage, I've had blush color, eyeshadow color, voice, and eye size revert when I changed it from the edit character selection (that I have noticed). Out of those, eye size was altered when I first made the character, and it only resets back to what it was when I saved the character for the first time.

Also had her portrait revert to normal, but if a return to character select, start editing another character, back out of that and go back to the first character, the portrait returns to what I had originally set it to, although it doesn't seem to do the same for any other options.
