You have to get Gascard to take you to Quentin's hideout instead of following the blood trail.

That whole scene for me is hilarious. "Don't stop on my account, this is fascinating." My favorite part of the Varric/Fenris exchange is Varric's laugh at the end.

But I always have Isabela in my party instead of Aveline, and she says "They are SO Orlesian."

I forgot about Varric's exageration of the reunion, that was absolutely golden, same with how Cassandra just totally calls him on it. When does the Orlesian/Hanged Man exchange happen?

I think it's banter after the conversation ends, not part of the actual conversation, so if you leave too quickly, you might miss it.

Nein, it is part of the conversation. I'm sure Aveline, Varric, Fenris and Isabela will comment on it. Not sure about Merrill, Anders or Sebastian.

The conversation between Nella and the Comte and Comtesse afterwards is all banter though. And hilarious.

Fenris getting all possessive when Zev propositions Hawke - what can I say? Unexpected from Mr Stoic

So many of Varric's moments are golden - his asides and comments are fabulous. His remark when Bethany turns up after you side with the Templars made me chuckle (if she's a GW not sure about Circle mage) - "uh oh, she's going to be pissed" (or similar).

I'm bad but I love annoying Anders. "I'm standing right here!" and his reaction if you tell Cullen he's plotting something is priceless. *evil laugh*

I'm forgetting lots but those will do.

Isabela returning for my first playthrough was my favourite scene. I hadn't romanced her that time, but later playthroughs I fell in love with so many of her scenes.

Varric has loads of great lines. Merrill is adorable, but only if you rivalmance her do you get a good touching scene.

Yes the whole sequence of Isabela returning, then the Dorkashok saying the thief had to be turned over and Aveline standing up for her and saying "No, no no, if anyoine is going to kick her ass it will be me. She stays."

I hardly think that's bad.  Upsetting Anders is probably my Hawke's # 1 pastime... except for maybe changing his mind/changing sides on the whole templar mage thing... what can I say?  I'm as big a hypocrite as Anders and Fenris!

This. That's my favourite moment. Carver has always been... difficult. And it's so great to see that he has actually grown towards the end. If you choose the sarcastic answer before the fight with Orsino, Hawke's and Carvers dialogues are really touching. I was a bit dissapointed that there was no "hug"-option for my little brother.

So far I only played as a mage, so I haven't been able to see how Bethany reacts, but I'm looking forward to this in my current playthrough.

Carver really bothered me, but in a good way. He reminds me a lot of my little brother, who for the longest time complained about absolutely everything. I thought it was really awesome that Bioware was able to remind me of that.

And that was a good moment.

Giving Fenris to Denarious, because it always glitches and I can get full approval from Anders and full rivalry from sebastion as well as 250 gold and levelups.

mine would have to be during the Qunari attack, when you meet with the Arishok and Isabela shows up again.  On my first playthrough, she was done and gone and I whooped his *** cause I had to do it, but on my second when Isabela came back I thought it was a very... touching, for lack of a better word, moment, and I really enjoyed it.  Plus, it made wrecking the Arishok seem all the more satisfying, in my opinion.

hehe I agree though, she came back to me both times I played, only the first time I decided to duel Arishok (that went very bad, coz I was running from him for half an hour until I finaly killed him xD), coz I was very happy that she is back... but second time I thought that duel was not the best option (I was mage healer xD)...
oh and I love it when Varric says at the end, that everybody eventualy left Hawke, except for Isabela^_^

If you're talking about varric "sole invasion" of Bartrand's estate.... ahahah...
yeap!  And i like the fight and the hilarious comments... "I'll take you all !!!" and "Bartrand i'm coming for you..."
