Warden Carver in Act 3.

Aveline's beatdown of rivalry! Hawke.

Varric: his made-up showdown at Bartrand's Mansion, I thought it was shot by Robert Rodriguez while high on John Ford and Al Pacino from Scarface. Cassandra's expression at his lie is priceless.

Aveline: agree with Ryzaki, when she punches Hawke out during ActIII. Oh, some backbone at last.

Isabela: when she gives the Dalish amulet back to Merrill, it shows she cares about her friends. Also, when she enters Viscount's Keep with the book, total badassery and display of affection for Hawke (romanced or not).

Merrill: whenever she owns Anders through party banter. Rivaled Merrill when she shows up at Hawke's mansion, kudos to her voice actress for delivering her confusion.

Sebastian: "No, Elthina, No!". Every time he shouts that, I can't help but hearing Ned Flander's voice and I crack up (I know I shouldn't, but...)

Fenris: uh, dunno, I totally dislike him. Maybe when I hand him to Danarius, too bad I can't map-jump to the Hanged Man again because of the bug.

Anders: when he says my Hawke can't speak a word without him wanting to strangle her. Otherwise, I don't like him much - a feeling my Murder Knife shares with me.

Bethany: whenever she reunites with Hawke, be it as a Mage or Warden. It's always good to see some family love.

Carver: Warden only, when he catches up with you during the last battle. Believable dialogues help a lot.

Hawke (yeah, Hawke): "Recognize your mage?" handing body parts to Emeric during Act I (Sarcastic/Charming). Bethany's "You're horrible" is adorable.

I thought the EXACT same thing.  Just swap Elthina with Reverend and you've got an exact match...

My favorite part is when Sebastian is all "I'll get you, and your precious Anders too" after I tell anders to help me save the mages. Then I'm searching everywhere for that murderknife, but Sebastian's plot armor is too strong,

Good thing Sebastian had that plot armor, cause that murderknife would have gone right through his "the Maker protects me" armor...

THIS.  Everything about Warden Carver, especially during The Last Straw, is such epic win.

"In war, victory, Champion.  And whatever else may come."  ZOMG little bro you so cool.

Followed closely by Anders: "We will fight for a world in which our children can be born mages, and free.  Ten years, a hundred years from now, someone like me will love someone like you.  And there will be no templars to tear them apart."

I'm currently working my way towards seeing Warden Carver in Act 3, and based off what I'm reading here, I'm thoroughly looking forward to it!

* Aveline's q the long road. Sitting there with Donnic and waiting for Avaline to show up, I was squirming in my seat watching my Hawke looking more and more embarassed at the situation. Love that entire q.

* Varric's q like everyone else.

* My first Hawke when I played the game blind in the beginning I romanced Fenris and had no idea that he would pounce on my Hawke if she went back to the house. That worked =)

* Not favourite in happening but it affected me very much. When Leandra dies in Act 2. On the first Hawke I remember just looking at my screen in terror when the camera moved over her throat and you saw the scar and stiches. Then afterwards when Hawke held her on the floor, I was sniffling a good deal after that one. Don't know if Leandra counts as companion but it was a good scene     =)    in the bioware-likes-to-hurt-me kind way.

So many good one already mentioned but I'll go with one not yet brought up.

*snip dat face*
How could anyone resist that face?

I couldn't. But do you think Isabela sees the irony in telling Hawke not to let her down?

I'm not really sure, but she needn't worry.  My male Hawke would never  let her down... in more ways than one!

Yeah I can agree to that.  Leandra isn't a companion, but that was still one heck of a shocker.

What ? I've don't kill Gascard but he never showed up in 3 playthrough. Is there something special to do ?

You have to get Gascard to take you to Quentin's hideout instead of following the blood trail.

i didnt kill him either. Do i have to visit him in his mansion? And do i have to chose a specific reply before letting him go?

I think you just let him go, and then tell Emeric he's innocent.  When you speak to Gamlen and Bodahn, you should be able to head to Darktown... there won't be an indicator telling you to go there, but once you arrive it'll lead you to him.

My favorite moment is definitely in one of the party banters between Isabella and Bethany.
*paraphrasing*
Bethany: "So, you've slept with women?"
Isabella: "I know, shocking isn't it?"
Bethany: "What do you... I mean..."
Isabella: "Men are good for one thing. Women are good for six."
Bethany: "Oh.... what six?"
Hawke: "Isabella!"

I about died laughing after that.

For drama, absolutely nothing can beat Anders blowing up the Chantry. No, I don't agree with him, but that just made it all the more heartbreaking to watch. And romancing him, then having to see his dejected puppy eyes as he waits for you to condemn him...it's a powerful scene. Whether you support him or not, there's no denying watching the Chantry go boom in time with the strikes of his staff all while he delivers an epic speech is one of the pivotal moments in the game.

That's very true.  I figured something was going to happen with him at some point that would be a game changer, but the Chantry thing was just crazy.  The ultimate act of Thedas terrorism!

Most emotional moments (in no order):

- The "don't die and me..." scene with Fenris. The way he lovingly touches Hawke's hair and then the surprise hard smooch. had me swooning.

- Carver coming back at the end (grey warden scenario) to become a companion again. I actually whooped. So unexpected, and he totally redeemed himself in my Hawke's eyes.

- Aveline telling hubby 1 "They will not have you...". I knew she'd be a great character from that moment on. And then watching her having to kill her husband--much more moving that even the family deaths.

- Both Flemeth scenes. Kate did a superb VA job!

- Isabela coming back with the relic. Another 'Oh my GOD! Yay!' moment.

QFT. I've played through the demo and that part of the released game a ton of times, and I never fail to pause on that line. Such fierce emotion -- love her.

I agree, though I wish she would maintain that fierce, determined personality as opposed to the awkward role she takes on later with Donnic.

Isabela: So, Donnic was in the Rose.
Aveline: He was not!
Isabela: Easy, big girl. He wasn't shopping for himself. You're lucky to have a man who wants to please you.
Isabela: But, maybe you could indulge him more. Are there areas of intimacy you haven't explored?
Aveline: Why? Why do you give me these doubts!
Isabela: Aveline. If you shove your thumb up his ass, I win.

The last line depends on who else is in the party:

Anders: Just... no.
Fenris: (laughs)
Merrill: Ew!
Varric: Ah, that old chestnut.
Sebastian: Ugh. Maker.
Hawke: (Coughs)

I HAVE to hear this.  Is it just with Isabela and Aveline in your party after she gets with Donnic?

It's a conversation between Isabela and Aveline in Act 3. The companions will say something. My personal favorite for it's feel is Merrilll's Ew! The link includes Merrill.

The other great one just cause of how it's voiced by Isabela is

Aveline: You didn't come to my solstice dinner party.
Isabela: Look at you! Dinner parties, cooking... do you have a lace apron yet, or should I get one for you?
Aveline: Don't change the subject. I sent you an invitation, and you didn't show up.
Isabela: I thought it would be... I mean, I don't know. I just don't do family gatherings.
Isabela: Besides, one day you and Donnic will have children, and I'll be the last person you want around them.
Isabela: Imagine all the awkward questions you'd have to answer. "Mother, what's a Slattern?"
Aveline: I'll just point at you and say, "That's a Slattern."

Can't wait to hear the other one (should be anytime now in my current game)!
