I can't just pick one though but if I had to choose the one that touched me the most....*drum roll*

Isabela's Goodbye at the Gallows gets me teary eyed EVERY SINGLE TIME!! I didn't get that scene on my first playthrough because she didn't come back, but I got it on my second (and third and fourth) playthrough.
I was staring at the screen like this...:crying:

So yeah...

Varric:  I adore the Anniversary cutscene with Varric because I really feel like he and my Hawke are bff's for real.  The banter he has with Aveline (in Act 3) when they talk about gearing up for a great finale and Varric promises her a endless sunshine...yeah...I was doing this here also T_T.  I did that a lot during this game.  *sigh*

Aveline
:  I haven't experienced yet, but I have seen on youtube.  The Captain's Condolences is very touching when she shares that bit about her father.  :crying:  Oh goodness!  I <3 Aveline so much! She is wonderful!  She's my Hawke's adopted sister! <3

Merrill:  During the quest from Martin when Merrill messes up your lie about the fire.  I love that scene so much because her animations are very funny...and the delivery of  that line when she's like, "oh that's very clever." :D Such a cutie!! <3

Anders:  After Dissent, when he's sorting what he wants to keep versus what he wants to throw away. So sad because he's so unraveled by Justice's murder/almost murder of Ella.  Quite heartbreaking.  :(

Sebastian:  The story he tells about the his grandfather when you give him the Starkhaven Bow.  That's a nice glimpse into Sebastian that gets overlooked, I think.  There is a certain tenderness about him that I enjoy and I think that's one many reasons why I dig him a great deal! <3

<3FENRIS:  Oh there are so many...gah....but his entrance...wow his entrance.  I think that his introduction is one of the best entrances I have ever seen for a video game or at least since KOS-MOS's epic entrance in Xenosaga (yes, yes, judge all you like...I don't care...KOS-MOS =).  Tied with the entrance scene is that final romance dialogue after the quest "Alone."  Darn puppy face...can't escape it....:crying:

I love the guy, but that "bag of bones" comment made me want to facepalm. Although it's not like he's the only companion who makes dumb/insensitive/jerkish remarks.

My favorite companion moments include Varric shooting Gaspard, Anders' scene with Hawke after Leandra's death, the kiss scene with Anders, Merrill breaking the mirror, Aveline punching the darkspawn in the face, and Sebastian and Isabella's intros.

True, that one was just a huge "What a jerk!" moment for me.

What was Sebastian's intro again?  The bit with him and Elthina arguing about his Chantry board post?

Yep. I also liked the part where he punched out some guy in one of his personal quests.

Don't laugh, but for me my favorite companion scenes are all the romantic scenes (Mainly Fenris and Merrill).

Anders' is great. Looking forward to Fenris' on this playthrough.

I haven't seen Merrill's yet. I find it so incredibly awkward, as she reminds me of a little sister. Everything from her appearance (not that there is anything wrong with it), to the way she speaks, and the innocence that's usually in her character.

In fact, I'd feel worse romancing her than I would Bethany, who really IS Hawke's sister.

My favorite companion moment is where I can finally stab Anders. Even it ain't enough. I prefer casting Walking Bomb on him and watch him blow into oblivion.

I like DA 2 companions but not really attached to them like DA:O ones. So if we can think his as an ex-companion Zevran quest is also my favorite. That guy is so damn funny.

Love that comment, highcastle. Great read!

I've had Anders on the friend-romance and the rivalmance path with different Hawkes, and his story is even more tragic in the latter case because you can persuade him that the merging with Justice was wrong, he's a monster, he has to fight back. And when Justice suddenly emerges in a conversation to rant at you and Anders comes back with no memory of it, you realize that Anders has been losing his very self for years, to obsession and abomination blackouts, until there's almost nothing left of who he once was.

I was quite moved, more than I've been about a video-game character in a while. Wanted to smite the hell out of Justice, too.

As soon as the bug with Anders rivalmance is fixed I am going to rivalmance him..... Gah I wish I could start this weekend   =)

I liked it when Fenris threw the bottle of wine at the wall and remarked how he can still take small pleasures in life. That scene was my favourite.

Okay, so, my absolute favorite moment is when Isabela comes back with the relic at the end of Act 2. It's just the way she owns that Qunari guard and walks over him to hand it over to the Arishok. It is all win! And I wanted my Hawke who was romancing her to be able to grab her and kiss her, but unfortunately, it was not to be.

My new favorite moment just happened in my playthrough with a fully "rivalled" Aveline. When she is discussing the whole "King Alistair is offering veterans a place in his army if we return" in Act 3, and it sounds like she is really thinking seriously about returning. The conversation options seem kind either "yeah, go, I don't care" or "you've already made up your mind" or the "red fist" challenge option. My rogue parties really use her as a protector type and threat gatherer, so I didn't want to chance her leaving (though she probably wouldn't, anyway), so I chose the two "red fist dialogues". Then came the awesome - Aveline is pissed and knocks me to the ground and starts beating on me. I It surprised me and cracked me up - and seemed to really fit the whole rival state of our relationship.

Yeah, I know what you mean.  For me it made the cameos that much better, because I was so much more attatched to the DA:O characters.  Zev is hilarious, you're right.  Glad to see his personality was still as... free (?) as ever!

When you interrupt the Harriman brother's awesomesauce idea of gold-plating one of the servants. Sebastian punches out the elf who's holding the servant at knifepoint.

Sebastian's intro is great. The arrow into the board! Ka-chunk. The little head movements and facial expressions really caught my attention. (And the voice. Ahem.) If only he were a little more interesting...

Yeah, I love his intro, and the punching scene was pretty good too now that I remember it. :P

It's a shame his character turned out to be so opposite from what my first impressions of him were: bold, decisive, determined.  Well, I guess that isn't true.  He is all of those things, just very "I love the Maker" prissy about it.

From watching his trailer, I was positive he would be a Scottish version of Inigo Montoya.

 Yeah. Not so much.

That's because you need to rivalry him.  Rivalry!Seb takes several levels in badass, to the point where he's even willing to stand on opposite ground from Hawke BEFORE Anders' stunt at the Gallows.

Oh, that's great to know! I never take him around enough to rival him. One or two excursions is enough to remind me that I'd rather have someone else in the party in his place (especially since I'm currently playing an archer rogue, myself). Maybe on the next playthrough, when I aim to rival everyone I possibly can...

That's what I'm thinking too.

If having him rival me will give him a backbone, sounds good to me!

Oooo. I've never gotten him to full rivalry-he keeps giving me friendship points for being nice to people. I'll try again on this playthrough.

Shouldn't be too hard.  Just find the jerk or deliberately unhelpful thing to do, and do it.  Plus, whenever you get the chance, make sure to insult the Maker and Elthina!
