If he is attached to anything even a paperclip I won't touch it with a 100 foot poll. The "dude" ruins everything.

Production Assistant: Not to...overstep my bounds, Mr. Bay, but isn't this a fantasy film? Having this Carver character killed by a flaming, out-of-control 18-wheeler might seem a touch out of place in this setting--

Who should direct such a grand adventure, then? Peter Jackson? Ridley Scott? Tyler Perry?

Bradley Cooper is NOT Carver, ye gods man, where did you get that idea? I'd go out on a date with Bradley Cooper, not Carver. And Jude Law is NOT Fenris, again, I'd go out on a date with Jude Law but not Fenris, I don't want him to get all funny with his hands.. I'd vote Mr. Twilight(whatshisfacename) for Fenris, he does have that broody look about him.

Cassandra.... maybe not Helena Bonham Carter? Though I honestly can't think of a good replacement.. And the Arishok has to be Javier Bardem, no one else would do.

edit : jds1bio, Jim Cameron. He da man.

I would suggest a few subsitutions !

Hawke: Clive Owen
Merrill: Eve Myles
Isabela: Rhona Mitra (she has the voice, the swagger and the bod)
Meredith: Helen Mirren (she does a fabulous **** - really she does)

If there really were a DA movie, I would totally vote for Guillermo del Toro to direct. It would be so ****ed up... in the best possible way.

I'm on board with those suggestions, borelocin. I'm pretty pissed Clive Owen didn't take up the Bond role as well... may he be forgiven... But still, Javier Bardem!

Clive Owen's a possibility...he's been hanging out at the far end of the complexion slider, though.

Re: Javier Bardem and Jack Nicholson as Arishok

I never saw the Arishock smirk. I think it might take these two guys out of the running.

I just think it would be funny to have the alpha Qunari, the leader of this highly-disciplined and rigourously structured society, revealed to be a creepy-looking old man who swears a lot, constantly ogles women and wears sunglasses inside. =)

Patterson should do Fenris, Jude Law does not look gay enough.

Since Nicolas Cage just had some trouble with the law, he won't be available for shooting.

I know, they're tears of joy, right?

I've played as Clive Owen. That game was weird.

I has a sad. Javier Bardem didn't smile.. much.. in No Country For Old Men did he? I forget, I kinda tuned out while watching it.. But he can look scary is my point.

And on Mr Twilight, he can sparkle, who needs to worry about pointy ears?

cookie?

The two actors you chose for Carver are too old.  I would go with Tyler Neitzel.

Meredith could definately be played by Joanna Lumley and she is about the right age.

Betty White is a bit old for Lusine.  Is Kim Cattrall to much of a typecasting?  hehe

Tom Hardy is a great choice for Anders

John Rhys Meyers for Fenris

Either of the Elthina's you have are good.  I might lean to Fionnula.

I can already see it

"Warden comes to DeepRoads, then he slams hurlock with a shield, causing a semitruck roll on the road, making huge explosion causing other trucks also explode! Oh and lets not forget that during this time camera has to roll like sonowabiatch making everything a huge mess that no one can understand...

Then lets just add some skinny ho there in shorts and t-shirt with tight belly and lets shoot that in slow-mo for next hour and its a wrap."

There we have DragonAge the movie - Bay Edition
