Director: Michael Bay.

I can already see it

"Warden comes to DeepRoads, then he slams hurlock with a shield, causing a semitruck roll on the road, making huge explosion causing other trucks also explode! Oh and lets not forget that during this time camera has to roll like sonowabiatch making everything a huge mess that no one can understand...

Then lets just add some skinny ho there in shorts and t-shirt with tight belly and lets shoot that in slow-mo for next hour and its a wrap."

There we have DragonAge the movie - Bay Edition

You just don't understand his work, he is an artist. He conveys powerful and deep human emotions, through blowing up his set.

I just saw Game of Thrones. It was perfect for lovers of Origins' sex scenes, DA2's exploding body parts, and clean-shaven dwarves. They can keep Sean Bean, we don't need him in this epic.

One does not simply write off Sean Bean.

Peter Jackson did.  But I guess he had no choice, did he?

I wouldn't exactly call having Bean's character die in accordance with the book the movie was based on "writing him off." So no, Peter Jackson did not.

Can we please have someone else besides HBO produce this thing? After watching Game of Thrones, I fear for Dragon Age to be turned into a snippet about some Blighty thingy, the Steward or whatever of Kirkwall, and about 55 minutes of gratuitous ****** and ass.

Exposed flesh? In MY Dragon Age?! Burn it with hellfire!

Disclaimer : I haven't seen the first episode(of Game of Thrones), so I don't know.

Patterson should do Fenris, Jude Law does not look gay enough.

No! That's all wrong! I'm unsure about Jude Law too but that's a better option than Patterson.

What about Eddie Redmayne?

I thought the same thing.  At least if Michael Bay does agree to direct, the only things that will be gratuitous will be the explosions.  But the golems might get replaced with transformers.  I'm still holding out for one of the Scott brothers' schedules to open up.

For Fenris- I am torn by either Robert Pattinson, Jared Leto, or Ben Barnes
For Hawke- Sam Worthington

Jude Law is already old looking and not waif-like enough.
Fenris has to be good looking but waif-like with the emo boy haircut but have a strong edgy face to him that can convey darkness. In short, a little bad-ass.

In reflecting on the choices for Fenris, I thought of a outside candidate for Danarius - Wil Wheaton.

Sheldon Cooper disapproves - 1000

edit : additionally, Fenris + little badass isn't realy what I'd... oh why bother.. no. Fenris has his one claim to fame with his phasing thing, otherwise he can get in line with the rest of bitter whiners out there. But getting back to the casting, why not Pattinson, I think his face has strong edges, he doesn't need to smile, there's no sparkling involved so that may not work so well. But I hear he does broody well. Fenris is 90% broody, he should be a perfect fit!

Yeah, she's too overexposed now and she's going to give birth soon, so she's probably out.

Then Sheldon Cooper can find someone else to take him to the comic book store.

HBO is rather clumsy with their nudity... it's usually meaningless, non-sensual, non-sensical...etc. Skip historical accuracy and the like, and shows like Rome, Deadwood, etc. aren't half-bad if not for all the bland pulp they try to stuff into an otherwise well-costumed, well-set show.

That's why we're trying to get big name stars for this production, they won't agree to meaningless nudity.

I would suggest a few subsitutions !

Hawke: Clive Owen
Merrill: Eve Myles
Isabela: Rhona Mitra (she has the voice, the swagger and the bod)
Meredith: Helen Mirren (she does a fabulous **** - really she does)

I've played as Clive Owen. That game was weird.
If you get what I'm talking about you get a cookie.

You mean Privateer 2 ? I remember when I thought games with lots of FMV were cool Image IPB

I'm enjoying Game of Thrones so far.  I have a soft spot for Sean Bean <3
..but yes, the sex and nudity is distracting.

If Pattison were cast as Fenris I would assassinate him before this abomination could take place. He's pushing it with Twilight already. Fenris needs a sexy voice. That is all
