I say Reaper, but it'll have problems getting out.

The Thresher has the most powerful acid in the universe. And this Thresher is ve-e-ery big and old.Nathan Redgrave wrote...
It's obvious the Reaper wins, he just gets blindsided and momentarily subdued. The Thresher slows it down, but that's all.
So, 50/50, I think.

The Thresher Maw won by default when it took it underground. Last time I checked, Reapers don't have drills and it's super shields are of no use since they only stop stuff going at a certain speed. The Maw's attacks hit it's armor directly and a Reaper's armor is made of the same thing as the Hammerhead's (weak armor).

requiring a fleet's worth of firepower to take down
This is a common mistake. The Reapers are easily destroyed by minimal firepower. It's they're shields that you have to worry about. It wasn't fith fleet which stopped Sovereign, it was the Normandy and two other small fighters.
They're shields are nigh inpenetrable, that's what protects them as the armor that comes out of the orgnic goop is very weak actually. f the Reapers had no shields, or only normal ones, it would be easy to beat them.

Anywho, this Colossal TM must be REALLY FOOKING BIG! I mean an average Maw is 300 feet long, yet Sovereign is 6000+ feet in length, although I'm guessing not all Reapers are as big as him.
CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

No, this Harbinger must be eliminated by Shepard only

Acid by itself barely even does anything. I once poured highly concentrated sulfuric acid on a piece of wood and nothing happened for over 5 minutes, at which point I lost interest and tossed it back into the woods.SergeySW wrote...

Good, then I don't need to explain what it means when it comes to 'acid strenght'.
You really think a Thresher Maw acid contains sulfuric acid? Yeah, I think it's stronger than that

Acid strength is not correlated to corrosivity.Chewin3 wrote...

Yes? I don't see your point?
But anyway, why did you even bring sulfuric acid in this? You do know it's pretty weak compared to carborane superacid?

Sulfuric acid will.
That's my point.
