Oh wow so now Shepard has to get a reaper to fight a Thresher maw . what hell did Bioware do watch a Godzilia movie and said oh that would be cute lets have a reaper fight a thresher maw . Its stupid and I hope they both beat the hell out of each other

No. In Tuchanka, a Reaper is approaching Shepard out in the open and all of the sudden a giant Thresher Maw grabs the Reaper and drags it underground and the Shepard has to escape the laser blast coming out of the ground.

Hm. I thought the Game Informer article said the Reaper was like "a mile long" or something.

Still... although I hate Thresher Maws... I'd love for Ol' Mawsey to take the Reaper down permanently, and then perhaps live to swallow entire clans another day. (Or more Reapers.)

People forget that there are different size reapers, small reapers cant take the acid spit from a maw, specially a hyper giant legend one.

It's obvious the Reaper wins, he just gets blindsided and momentarily subdued. The Thresher slows it down, but that's all.

ya thats what i got from it.

it would be pretty epic if the krogans somehow found a way to harness the thresher maws. then we could have an army of them stationed ready for defense, lol. like land-mines scattered across the terrain, only they hop up and eat everything.
