I think we've all heard by now that Bioware and Funimation struck a deal to create an anime spin-off. Sort of like Halo Legends.

I believe that the only way this adaptation could be successful is if the episodes contained some of the following:

The story of how Garrus became Archangel and Sidonis' betrayal. (We all know we would love to see this, even though it'll end on a bad note.)

Kaiden during Jump Zero

An episode dedicated to the First Contact Wars

The origin of the Geth and their war with the Quarians

Thane during his time under contract with the Hanar and how he met Irikah (This one will end on a bad note too  )

Jack being recruited as Subject Zero (We all saw the Dossier for that one on LoTSB!)

Mordin during his time working on the Genophage

Thoughts on this? Feel free to add in any ideas! Bioware needs to see this!

I'm thinking more along the lines of a completely seperate story entirely unrelated to the existing cast of characters.

Well Halo Legends had a few episodes completely unrelated to the original story around Master Chief, and it just didn't work for me.
But who knows, we haven't heard anything about the anime yet so there's much to anticipate.

I think the only way this anime could work is if its not made.
