Please, add installer problem.
I have two versions installed - from steam and eadm. First patch patched the game correctly, but second patch halts after it finds steam version and does not update my eadms version. 
After update, steam version does not see black emporioum so I can't load my save game.

During the quest "Favour and Fault" in Act III, Aveline's final armour upgrade still doesn't drop.

WEll so far I have yet to see the scene with Fenris visiting the dog, I have only ever gotten Aveline and Sebastian talkign to the dog tbh. 2 times romanced Fenris when this did not happen and once Merrill ,
I have nevre gotten the friendly Varric conversation about LI in any play through, [ 1.02 ] Also the rescue of the nobles daughter quest... I could finally complete the combat part of it etc but I could never get completion of the quest. stayed in journal as if not done, no xp reward etc....
so far these are the only issues i have noticed with patch 1.02, and also a random amount of lagging... I am not playing online so im not sure i know why, my video driver is update, altho I do not have direct x 11.

The important part of the first post:

I didn't read the entire thread to see if this was mentioned, but this mod

is designed to fix a character previously affected by the "Thumbs Up" bug from within the game. No save file modding required.

Note* I haven't tested this myself.

Is there anyway the Anders rivalry ending and romance will trigger where you can make him side with the templars will be fixed in the next patch? Ive seen people have asked already in this thread but with no response.
I am not a very frequent poster but I would really appreciate any word if this is being looked into and fixed for the upcoming patch. Ive seen the final rivalry romance dialogue for Anders from people who have used the debug console, it is very well written so im very disappointed it can only be triggered by using the debug console. :crying:

Was just informed, and adding it to the summary, that for Favor and Fault, the upgrade will not generate if you've ever been to that area in act 3. SO, you'll likely need to play from the end of act 2 with 1.02 to get Aveline's 4th upgrade.

Ouch. Shame, I'm a bit too far into Act 3 to restart it now. I can live without the 4th upgrade I guess. Thanks for the update anyway.

Um... about missing.... some people in this thread and the previous one (about patch 1.02) asked about possibility for Anders to agree to join the templars if on full rival (and if is not killed obviously:)). It was confirmed by Jennifer Hepler that it should be in game (http://social.biowar...58177/2#6763969) but so far nobody was able to unlock this ending. t possible that it has been removed, or there are some other specific conditions to get that ending (except the conditions jennifer pointed out) or it is bugged? Can you please at least clarify this, because there was nothing mentioned about it by devs so far?

Please add also the issue I mentioned about missing cut scene dialogs (and other trigger related problems):

I observed the following that might all be related to the same issue:
- Cut scenes often start with the second dialog and, if there is none, with the dialog wheel
- Actions, that would trigger a one-line-dialog, do not trigger in most cases (e.g. clicking on Sandal in Hawke Estate only sometimes triggers him saying something about the scary tower to which his father replies that he means the Gallows and that he agrees; in most cases this just starts with Bodhan's line)
- Only one out of ten examination points in Hawke Estate and Gamlen's home trigger Hawke to say his line and it is not always the same point that works
- The barrel puzzle in the Templar Halls is not solvable for me; clicking on the barrels does not move them in any direction, unless I restart my PC and click on them; then it works for one, two barrels and stops working again
- The companion's banter does almost always start with the second line


This PC-Issue might be related to hardware although users with completely different hardware seem to have the same problem.

I admit I still haven't played with the 1.02
but
with 1.0 and 1.01 My Hawke never got a single Injury whenever knocked out
and I noticed that my max hit points decresed permanently every time this happened. don't remember how many hit points exactly.

can anyone confirm if in 1.02 it's still like that?

Did you try uninstalling one of your two versions? I'm not sure how much support you'll get for having two simultaneous installs.

I participated in the beta testing for 1.02 and I have played a new playthrough, over 60 hours at the start of Act 2 and so far, Hawke received an injury every time she died. (And I'm playing on Nightmare, so we're talking about dozens of deaths)

I will double check the max hit points, but I have not noticed any issue like that.

So far since installing 1.02 my Hawke was incapacitated twice (once by accident, and once to test), and neither time did an injury occur. With 1.00 I never saw an injury on Hawke. I don't know about max hit points being permanently decreased, as I never paid attention to that. Will look for it next time.

No, I have both and i'd like to keep it this way, since linux can't pass ea drm test. The same message about administrator privilegies some windows users get. 
I can try to delete steam version, since with activation crack I can play on linux as well(will have to wait 1.02 crack though).
Uhm, have to mention it - to play da2 I use windows 7, but most of my time I use linux, so it is good to be able to play it from under there. Game is installed in windows partition.

Just started a fresh character, fem warrior and got killed on purpose a few times with each character soon after meeting aveline
not a single injury, not on me or party members. is that even possible? :huh:

You don't get injuries in prologue.

Ok. I'll refrain to comment on how stupid is that and on the fact that I feel a bit insulted in my gaming ability by this.
On a second thought no, I wont refrain.

That aside.
Got past the prologue, and it seems that the injury mechanism is working now for the main character. Good :wizard:
