I don't know if I lose the runes, she didn't have any in her armor at that point. I just thought you might have chosen the wrong words to describe the issue because I didn't experience the bug as it is described.

I'm not gonna repeat the issues I see listed in the first/second post.  But, I hadn't seen this one:

I am having a conversation loop with the Arishok - when we're talking about Seamus joining the Qun - this will loop twice. Now, while I enjoy matching words with the Arishok, he does have limited time with which to wave his hand around and make demands of me. All that sitting to do, you know, and here I am, taking it up with replaying that convo. *cheeky grin*

Thing is I had this problem before 1.02 so if 1.02 doesnt fix it retroactively then I personally wont see any improvement. However it could be fixed for all fresh playthroughs with 1.02 installed from the start. I only noticed the injury immunity early in Act 3, so unless I play from the start to Act 3 again this time with 1.02 I cant be sure if its fixed, but it could well be.

 I rarely play games more than once, so I probably wont get to test it myself. Will have to see if anyone who has started a fresh playthrough with 1.02 complains of it. If not then we can consider it fixed I guess.

As for me and the rest of my playthrough, well, as bugs go this isnt a bad one to have and my Hawke rarely dies anymore even playing on Hard as I am (I had to force him to die by soloing impossible numbers of Templars etc to even test this out, haha).

It seems that any powers and abilities in the game that are supposed to disorient do not work(various Rogue abilities), or if they do only for a split second, as mentioned. At least the icon for it only shows up very briefly. It's been like that since v1.0 though.

I can confirm that Disorient works perfectly as intended for me with the following abilities (tested both in Patch 1.01 and Patch 1.02):

Chaos (Upgraded Confuse)
Overpowering Fog
Disorienting Criticals (when combined with Obscure ability, such as Impenetrable Fog, Smoking Arrow, etc.)

The only ability I've found where it does not work is Disorienting Shot.

Some lose the "rune slot"(it dissapears), some lose the upgrades altogether(if the person had 3, it goes to 1). This is just what I've read about on the forums(for example here,here,here and others), but I did not experience the bug personally.

It was a bit easier to test on Nightmare - I just let Fenris perform Cleave + upgraded Mighty Blow on an enemy near Hawke (Result is instant death for Hawke).  Iwas able to test it about 10 times very quickly.

Not sure if this is considered a bug(I rather hope it is), but the Tome of the Slumbering elders you get as a reward from Marethari after Night Terrors is a surprisingly pathetic junk item that the keeper heavily hints is supposed to be worth much more than it really is. Is this actually working as intended?

Could the in-game UI elements (particularly the portraits) be relocated to the central monitor in Eyefinity/NVSurround resolutions? It's not particularly usable to have them waaaay over on the left edge of a 6048 pixels / 3x 22" monitor wide display! Even the likes of the Assassin's Creed games manage to get this right, and as the out of game menus, cutscenes etc in DA2 all manage to display correctly on the central monitor I can't see why the HUD elements should be different?

Please make companion AI a bit more responsive (read: intelligent). This is a matter of battle mechanics, eg. range running AWAY from trouble instead for running INTO trouble. Everyone wants to be "the man". <roll eyes>

I haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere and am not sure if it is a bug..

When using a power that throws enemies away from you, you lose focus. Example, shield bash. I would expect that if I bash a mob to the ground, that I'd continue the attack, but no. my S&S warrior just stands there while being attacked by other mobs.

Why does auto attack get turned off in this case?

I asked Luke before, and no this isnt because of the shield ability that turns off fast closing attacks. The problem is no attack at all. Focus lost, no target mob anymore.

I'm on PC.

I don't know if you just missed it or if this isn't the kind of fix you are planning for this patch, but you left out the shadow veil bug that I mentioned. The talent does not cause the rogue to become obscured when using any form of stealth.

I'm not sure if this is a glitch - and I think it happened to me at least once before the patch. When entering something like a warehouse or a small outer-Kirkwall type area, with groups of mobs - bandit-type, if I have a rogue cast Confusion on a nearby mob, a mob in another room or farther 'outdoors' distance (not aggroed to my group) will be found fighting each other. (this is nice, granted, but I'm not sure it's meant to happen.) At first, I thought I'd come upon something like the rival Darkspawn in Awakening, but this would be say, Slaver-bandits fighting each other.

Is that intended?

Sorry if this was already mentioned, but there is a bug in the Side Quest "Raiders on a Cliff" in which some of the enemies remain inactive if you leave the wounded coast (and do not complete the quest upon initally receiving it). Because the enemies are not all killed, the quest will not complete and you get a dialogue loop with the lieutenant.

Luke, I just want to confirm that the devs are aware--as ejoslin has pointed out a number of times--that the problems with former DAO companions/love interests aren't just import-related. Even with a completely "correct" import achieved via mods and dev console/savegame editing, there are still problems with dialogue misfiring. So it's a combination of import problems AND dialogue scripting/cues. Since the list on the first page only says "import problems" I want to be certain the dialogue scripting problems get proper recognition as well.

The new plot Icon is on showing that I have an in game quest, but when I click on it says I have no quest. I can`t going to any other play besides the Black Emporium. I beat the game what else can I do in it now? Is the new plot icon a glitch

So far... I started a new game with the new patch...
and I don't think the romance Fenris "Friendly concern" ever triggered from Varric. I don't see it in my quest log or anything. and I finished most of act 2 and all of the companion quest.

If you've completed Anders' final Act 3 quests, but haven't given him the Tevinter Amulet, you can't give it to him. The quest icon is above his head, and it's in the journal, but if you try to speak to him he just makes a comment about making preparations.

Ever since 1.02 I have had random freezing in the game especially surrounding the transition into dialog. The worst so far was as i'm going up the mountain with Merel to take amulet to alter and we meet that rude elf man. When I hit that chat it froze completely untill I alt tabbed out.

Also in that same chat I was pressing ESC to skip the talking since I did that before on another save and I saw the male elf head off down the mountain past me mid conversation and then then when I chose my next dialog choice he was back in front of me talking again...

Patch 1.02 + new game.

Occasionally during combat characters will move in super slow motion for about 3-5 seconds (attack speed doesn't seem to be affected). It's hard to tell exactly but it seems to happen when a character is struck while moving in combat or is hit then attempts to move immediately after. It happens to PC and NPC characters and I've never seen it happen during 1.01

I'm pretty sure that there is some issue there that is not quite 100 % working or not working. The second time I was playing, Isabela actually had her new clothes on for a part of the cutscene, before she reverted back. I'm also pretty sure that Anders didn't get the clothing upgrade he gets towards the end of the game the second time around, even if everything else was roughly the same in-game.

Unfortunately I'm facing some major crunch time at work, and I can't play around with those two events to see if something definitely happens, but it might be worth checking out when looking at the issue.

And, kind of related to this. When Warden Bethany rejoined me in the final part of the game, she was carrying (in the inventory) and extra version of her warden clothes. Again, not sure if there is something broken in whatever calls the gear changes and it's seeping over into other things, or if these issues are unrelated.

I think I have seen this mentioned before but I remember I do not have this issue before the patch 1.02.

Companions will ignore the Hold command. Particularly annoying during Ancient Rock Waith fight. I hardly use the Hold command so I cannot say for sure whether this happens everytime.

Tactics:

Commands that normally require sustained abilities be active (eg:blood magic, healing aura), can be triggered via tactics without their activation. Group heal can be cast without healing aura being active. Wounds of the past/hemorrhage can be cast without blood magic being active.

Combat:

Enemies killed while under the influence of confusion will spawn in the second/third/whatever wave still flagged as an enemy faction to their cohorts. Dudes will drop out of windows already wailing on their team mates... if they where tagged with confusion and then killed in a previous 'wave'.

Seems to effect everyone, even Qunari etc...

Is the above mentioned issue with the gui elements the bug that highlights the companion portraits and so that you have to click a second time on them to unlock the mouse pointer?
