Patch 1.03 - Planning and Prioritization

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but here goes: if the intent was to fix the Exiled Prince DLC issues with this patch, I'm sorry to say that there's at least one that's still lingering. I was able to progress through the quest up until the final fight in the underground passage, and completed it. Now, I can't load back into the Harriman Estate for the final conversation with Flora. Every time I try and do so, it crashes back to my desktop (actually, I was able to successfully load just one time. Then right in the middle of the dialog scene, after Sebastian says "you were my mother's friend!", it crashed).
To say that this is maddening is an understatement, if only because I stopped midway through a playthrough once already while I waited for patch 1.02, and ironically enough, it was due to issues with the DLC content.
Now, it may be several more weeks before we see another patch. Please fix this.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Details: Patch 1.02, PC
Place of Occurrance: Brekker's Hideaway (Darktown)
Frequency of Occurrance:Occured once
Consistency in Reproducing:Difficult to reproduce
Steps:
1. Following the cutscene where Hawke meets Brekker, retreat to the nearest chokepoint, then retreat again to another part of the same map.
2. After defeating Brekker and the Coterie Rogues, return to the area of Brekker's cutscene near the exit
3.There is one more Coterie Rogue standing against the wall who will not engage in combat. It is impossible to activate battle with this enemy.
Result:You can leave the area, but it is impossible to complete Inside Job. The quest marker continues to point to Brekker's Hideaway, but the remaining Coterie Rogue cannot be engaged in battle.

rogue already in the start tutorial party;
the best skilled rogue companion in the party auto
opens locked containers and auto disables traps
throughout the game.
All the forth and back switching between non-rogue Hawke and
Isabela / Varric is one of the major annoyances of the game.

After here quest No rest for the wicked where I "gave" here the ship by letting Castillion live, dialogues still refer to her not having a ship. Among them is party banter and Questioning Beliefs with Fenris.

I tried it with my first char that didn't have the cutscene issue for some reason and I got the quest "Merrill, friend or foe" and the cutscene worked alright there. With my new character who was in act 2 when the patch came I now don't get the quest and can't get the cutscene either. When I come out of the cave it just looses "A New Path" quest, but don't update it to "Merrill, friend or foe" quest.
Is this something that needs completely new game to work properly? Cutscene didn't fire early so that worked even if it wasn't a new game.
Or is it a friendship/Rivalry dependant quest? Because this was first time I had quite low friendship with merrill there. Previous times I had friendship or Rivalry maxed.

Issue: Sketchy on the details still bugged for me, the Avengers (Hightown) have quest markers over them even when they're dead and the bodies have vanished. On handing in the quest the dialogue triggers and the reward is handed over, but quest marker stays above the quest givers head and the quest doesn't move to completed in the journal.

Has the finding Nathanial quest bug been fixed with this patch? I'm on my third playthrough now and I think I might cry if I get to act 2 again and have the fools rush in quest show up again. In my import from DA: A Nathanial was alive and architect killed.
Sorry, but it wasn't fixed. The quest only appears if you import a save where you had Nathaniel with you in the last part of Awakening. You can still add the quest with the developer console.

As I understood it, Alistair, Zevran (and Morrigan apparently) remain bugged with a pure DA:O import and aren't fixed with the available fan mod.
Thus these issues are listed separately as an import issue with "all" savegames, no matter from what source.

Just a short time ago, I tried finishing this quest (Act 2, Repentance) after turning off the "save automatically" option in the game menu. I was then subsequently able to load back into the Harriman estate, but after speaking for a time with Flora, the game still crashed (and I should say that I'm using a game save that has me in the underground passage, right after the final battle is concluded). I attempted to do this a couple of times afterwards, and no success- the game simply crashes back to my desktop.
Has anyone been able to complete this quest? Because as of now, unless I go back to an earlier game save, prior to even entering in the first place, my character is stuck, making the time that I spent doing this a complete waste. The thing that especially ticks me off about this is that I started a fresh, brand new playthrough when this patch was released instead of continuing where I left off, which was at or around level 13 with my previous toon, and what's more, I even uninstalled and then reinstalled both the DA2 game and the DLC content, along with this latest patch, before starting. So at this point I really wasn't able to get much further than when I initially stopped my first playthrough a month ago.

But I am having an issue with my Warrior Reaver/Templar spec, where the reaper abilities take huge amounts of health eg Aura of Pain instead of the said 5% or lower takes 25% and Sacraficial Frenzy instead of taking 20 health, seems to take 200 health.
I noticed this after I did a Make Sigh stat change. Now while this didn't affect me finishing the game, it did get quite annoying when it first happened and I slaughter myself after a few secs of aura of pain.
Hoping this is an easy fix, because my sword and shield reapler is mad fun to play.

That's because Leliana seems not to be bugged when importing from DA:O (or using the available fan mod) and thus falls under the import issues with Awakening and other DLC (the line above).

I just did the Alistair-Warden part on my Hawke mage. I imported directly from Origins, and use the mod. For me, this time, it was perfect. No overlapping dialogue & no weird assumptions that my elf mage is dead. (and it was really nice, I thought - I was expecting the glitch, but it was really sweet. I had my Hawke mage promptly give Fenris the necklace & my lady-squee of approval was heard throughout the house.)
I don't have my Zevran-romanced elf high enough to test his, though. I understand those problems are more complicated.
Where is the Morrigan romance supposed to show up?

Though I suppose she could have married or died by then
edit:earlier references to Ferelden's ruler were correct, so I don't think it's an import issue.

Concerning Morrigan, I'm currently scanning through this thread to find a post I've read about this. I don't know if she is mentioned by characters ingame, but as I remember it from that post, it's about a codex entry error and the debug script reporting wrong flags.
I'll see if I can find that post.

This bug will impact future DLCs:
Description: After finishing the game the player's chest in the Hawke Estate is empty.
How to reproduce: Store some items in the chest in the Hawke Estate. Finish the game. Check the chest.
DA2 version: PC version 1.02.
I've been assured that this will be fixed before any DLC rolls out, whether it be in the next patch or part of the DLC itself.

I had a bug this morning that I never had before the 1.02 patch. It was during the "Faith" mission, after defeating the enemies in the throne room, there are a series of cutscenes. Three times in a row, at different points during that series of cutscenes the game would freeze, start to stutter, and then the game would crash over a few seconds. I never had that sort of crash happen on my first playthrough of the game, or my second up to that point, even though I'd done that mission the first time through. I was able to get past that section by hitting esc through most of the dialogue, but something's fishy there.
Make sure you've installed the latest drivers for your video card.

Today i used linux to patch the game and everything was ok:D
WINE actually works better than windows sometimes.
______________
Bug with Merrill in act 3 (where she says that keeper is dead) is fixed, thanks.
The only thing that I don't like under linux is missing dx11:( But anyway it works, thanks.
