Is the romance option not working either for Anders + siding with templars? I was under the impression that just the rivalry wasn't

I believe you should be able to 'finish' the quest but you should never be able to get the final area without destroying all of them. (sidenote, when you get in to the final one, you can read the book for +2 stats without breaking anything :bandit:). So yes, it's a bug that it doesn't leave your journal.

On Anders' issues:

- the endgame rivalry part is currently 'fixed' in the packages for the next patch so assuming nothing crazy happens that requires it to be cut (or it just breaks again without anyone noticing) it should be in the next patch

- the Amulet part doesn't appear to have had an issue reported for previously so that's in now and hopefully that gets addressed before fixes for the next patch are locked

It will still be a good while before you see another patch. The magnitude of the next patch will have roughly the same (if not bigger) scope as this one so the time from launch until the patch release is probably a decent estimate at this point.

Even with a completely "correct" import achieved via mods and dev console/savegame editing, there are still problems with dialogue misfiring. Since the list on the first page only says "import problems" I want to be certain the dialogue scripting problems get proper recognition as well.

Post-Campaign right now is just a template (more or less) and doesn't really reflect your game at all. We're working on making sure this is done correctly before any DLC is released.

Assuming you're referring to Merrill's mourning 'quest', it's not supposed to be in the game. The notification was supposed to be removed but I guess that didn't happen. All it was is Merrill saying a quick line about the loss of your sibling - there are no plotflags or anything important that come of it.

Last I had seen this issue was not going to be addressed. I'll re-open it and see if I can change someones mind but it is fairly low priority. In the mean time you may want to make a request in the modding section - I suspect someone there has the ability to modify/move UI elements

I think* you can still use debug commands to get it to fire, no? I'm sure a community member would happily oblige your request if that is in fact the case.

It falls under Import Issues (Awakening). According to everything I've learned on the issues with DAA the game only recognizes your characters as living if you brought them with you to fight the Broodmother because apparently there is no post-game save in DAA. So, if you don't want to use that mod you'll need to replay the end of Awakenings and bring Nathaniel with you to the end.

This, along with the approval issue (both Awakenings) are being looked at.

I don't have exact details on the specifics of what the intent of the estate is Post-Campaign. I just know there are a few things that are being added/changed to it for when DLC releases. That said, don't take what I said as a statement that your LI or Orana WILL be in your house in post-campaign, simply that the current situation is not permanent.

And the gamma thing is fixed in 1.03 - for now you'll just have to wiggle the slider every time you start the game :(

In description it says that it grants 20% defense and magic resistance for all party, but it grants 15% of defense to caster, and 5% magic resistance to party, no defense at all.


We didn't change any strings (I dont think) and definitely didnt change any combat mechanics in this patch. They'll be addressed in the next patch.

This happens (I believe) when you're holding RMB over a character portrait and slide it off, it locks your input until you mouse over that portrait again. The same thing happens with your skillbar except that the problem isn't as destructive. Being addressed in the next patch - in the mean time, try using hotkeys to select party members :)

We're closing in on a lock for fixes, which is when we stop making code changes and focus exclusively on testing, after that is certification and then it goes live. A realistic timetable is still too variable at this time.

I believe the health potion one is getting fixed but other than that tactics will not be getting touched this patch. We'd like to address all of the inherent issues with the system when we decide to tackle it.

We're fixing the imports with approval rating problems (the ones that are broken coming from DAA and onwards). There are other various import fixes as well but I can't say 100% that every import will be fixed for sure.

I should have clarified when I made that statement that I was referring specifically to Story DLC and excluding any item packs.

Yeah it has. This and supplier have some issues - I haven't mentioned it on PC tech, apparently console people care more about achievements and trophies than PC gamers, who'd have guessed?! :o

Anyways, currently if you're not importing a DAO save you'll be very unlikely to get Epic (though its not impossible and is based wholely on an unlikely mathematical situation) - it will be fixed in the next patch, though. Just keep your end game saves and you should be able to just load them to get the achievement to fire.

just like last time (when the exact same posts were being made), we can't really give any dates on the patch just yet. You could probably extrapolate roughly where we are based on how the last patch was handled though :bandit:
