The fix stops the bug from re-occurring but does not fix any previous saves, as you are on the PC you can just fix the save yourself and it will not occur again. The Progressive Man wrote...
I have the slow motion bug... Can I just revert to an earlier save (before getting Isabela's buff) and continue on from there, or must I start from scratch?
I'm sorry if this question has been asked and answered before, I have just not yet been able to find a straight answer myself.
Fixed in PC Patch 1.02

My third import planned had a warden that was in a love triangle with Alister and Leliana for a while before choosing Leliana in the end. It sounds like a mod would make it seem like she was still in a relationship with both of them.

I have both steam and eadm version of da2 installed. When I try to install patch it tells me that it can't be used to update my steam version. I don't care about steam version!

Just delete it from your override folder to uninstall.

Uninstalling the steam version should fix the problem. Why keep it if you're not bothered about it?

Well, it is useful for linux:D It does not have DRM which prevents the game from starting. In windows it is ok with ea version, but I rarely use windows.
Well, I may try that, but it would be better if they fix patch installer

Could these sorts of issues be avoided by using the DAO Save Generator tool, since it allows you to choose DAO and Awakenings options without having to import anything into Awakenings?
Maybe we just need a more comprehensive tool that allows you to select the specific approval ratings for each companion.
In theory, yes, that'd be possible. But the DAO Save Generator in its current state doesn't generate approval ratings. It would have to be modified to do so before it would be a viable alternative.
Then by the sounds of it, a save generated by the generator along with the mod that removes the approval checks *should* work.
Except, of course, if Zevran's (or whomever's) dialogue is actually bugged so it's not giving the right dialogue even with the proper flags.
Do we actually know if if it's the dialogue or the flags/approval being ruined from the import that is the problem? God knows with a tool set this would have been fixed by the community already. <_<

It sounds like they missed a bit of code which tells the patch which version to patch. If it detects the steam one present I assume it'll just default to that error message. I suspect most people don't have both non steam and steam on their machine after all. I suspect uninstalling either version should fix the problem though if you'd rather keep the steam one.
Or just leave the EAdownloader one and play from the steam one as is. It'll patch through the steamclient and there won't be any conflicts.
ah, you've already done it.
Nevermind.

No, that's not the problem with Zevran. Looking at the flags from my savegame with a savegame editor, both the romance status AND the approval import properly from a DAO save. However, the romance is not acknowledged at all. Not even in the codex.
However, using the mod that fixes the import flags, Zevran now thinks the warden is dead. He is still willing to have sex with Hawke, but he will turn down Isabela on the grounds he is still mourning, even if the warden is alive -- both of those are incorrect dialog. His codex does reflect that the warden was his lover.
So it seems that there are a couple of problems. One would be with the vault. The other is dialog bugs.

sounds like the DLC is just installed in your EADM directory. And not in the steam one. I'm unsure how steam handles DLC.

Ah, that's a shame. Well at least they've stated they are looking for a fix for the problem for 1.03. I'd prefer they'd just get a toolset out instead.

Mechanics fixes (Revenants' Pull, Rally modals transfer) I was talking about are 100% functional, it's just my installation was faulty. Health/stamina bars also magically reverted to normal after I have re-applied the patch.
Beacon and Gifre kick some serious ass now. Their version of Pull slows the target down very significantly for ~5s.

The mod does fix Leliana's cameo, but Alistair's romance cameo is still broken unless the Warden married him (which worked in the unpatched and un-modded game because it was checking a non-romance flag). With the mod, the correct lines trigger simultaneously with the incorrect lines, and Warden Alistair seems to think the Warden is dead. I refuse to play another Zev-romance import until this is fixed. Mourning Zev is too depressing.

hmmm the " Aveline's final armor upgrade is now available during "Favor and Fault."" does not seem to be fixed..... but I had of course already started the first part of the quest, talking to the city guard girl, but not arrived at jevens party yet... dunno if that is the reason
I confirm this....I started the "Favor and Fault" quest just after installing the patch...at the end I didn't get any armour upgrade.
I just used an unofficial mod to fix this. It can be found here http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=2550
I'm glad I bought this game on pc cause of the mod and savegame editor existence....on console I would have been forced to start all over again because of the slow motion bug. Bioware really disappointed me this time.

Disappointing. Zevran's loyalty was all I wanted out of this patch. I really hate that he wants to cheat on my Warden.

Previously we were unable to discuss any of this with anyone outside the group but we've now been given the go ahead to talk about it so:
- Mistress Selby (underground railroad and related quests) are now marked as completed correctly.
- Mythal's Favor, Regroup and Resurrection now correctly put players/companions back in combat mode (if needed) after use.
- Music is now played during the endgame credits.

Though I haven't played the game with a fresh start all the way to act three, I did do some tests and I can confirm that Zevran is still broken. The behavior is the exact same as in v1.01 -- including the use of the import mod fix. So even IF his flag were fixed (which it is NOT), the dialog would be broken.
However, the data IS importing correctly from DAO -- looking at my save game from an editor shows that his romance is active and his approval is at 100. The problem is in the reading those data, and that issue would be in DA2. It's not being lost in the import process. now, I can't say that's the case for Awakening or DLC imports -- I suspect with DLC/Awakening imports the approval is not being imported (but I cannot verify this -- it looks like it isn't, but perhaps it's just stored in a different way).
Edit: Just saw that Zevran's bugs were added to the list. Thank you so much

It will stop it from getting worse but u must edit your save file or start over. Click the link below and read how to PERMANENTLY fix this problem once you apply 1.02
