1. To Mass Effect players.

Hi fellow commanders, I know that you are busy writing awsome posts and advices on how to improve Mass Effect 3, but please take a little break and help our beloved game series keep its reputation.

As you may know, Mass Effect was nominated in G4TV Videogame Franchise Deathmatch – a players’ poll about the best game franchise.

Currently, ME is in the semifinals. The previous matches were quite easy but that is about to be changed. Mass Effect is going up against the worst oponent possible – Starcraft. Starcraft as a successful e-sport game has probably the strongest and most active fanbase in gaming world. After all, it was Starcraft that defeated Mass Effect in last year's finals of this show.

Speaking of the show... I know that it is just bad attempt to increase the website traffic. I also admit that comparing totally different genres is weird and shallow. But those things are secondary to me. I want to support Mass Effect and wanted to let you know. Why?

• It is a way to promote Mass Effect (games that go far in the tournament allways get the attention of many new players and G4 also promissed a promotion of the winner)
• It is a way to show loyalty and say "thanks" to devs
• Many developers have asked openly for help in this competition*

So if developers care for this event that much, we should not leave Bioware and Mass Effect alone!

Besides, I kind of respect the motto of Starcraft fans:  YOUR GAME IS ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR FANBASE!
And I want to show everyone that Mass Effect is a good game.

With his support, Starcraft will most probably have the upper hand in this match. It's up to us, to make it at least close.  I would much appreciate if somebody could notify the Mass Effect Facebook page administrator about the development in this match. 
(I already posted an announcement on Mass Effect 2's FB profile but I do not expect to get anything out of it.)

UPDATE: Starcraft's developer Blizzard Entertainment has made an official call for help on Starcraft's official Facebook webpage. The results are vissible immediately.

Can Mass Effect's fans hope for similar announcement on Mass Effect's FB page? ( so that we can fight on equal grounds).

I don't think anyone's angry it's just that most here don't care for polls saying this game is better,etc. Although I didn't really read the OP so IDK what it's about.

Right now Mass Effect is winning 66% to Starcrafts 34%. 
We beat them for G4 TVs "Game of the Year" award, now it's time to do it again.

Star Craft is great, like some waffles with maple syrup. Mass Effect is great like cocaine. I'm hooked, can't get enough, want more.
