Funny how in Ander's short story its written "And then his sword is level with my chest, and I let it come, because it is only steel and cannot hurt me, for I am not of mortal men." - Direct quote.

He wasn't immune to the murder knife though!

No one is more powerful than the murder knife, we need to try it on Flemeth next time, maybe she will stay dead.

Murder Knife is made of condensed plot.

Only one has been able to withstand its might; Merrill. The possessed Keeper will Murder Knife Merrill if you believe her lie that she's no longer possessed. Merrill's story wasn't over however and so she laughed at the Keepers vein attempt to Murder Knife.

That's 'cus Merrill's armor is made of an alloy of buggy and rushed which is far denser than condensed plot if treated properly. *trollface* ;)

In fact lets have Dethklock do the Murderknife theme music, and lets have it a sequel to Hatredcopter.

Wait, remember asking him about the Ogre? He says "Not Enchantment"

He might already have one!

Murder-knifing the dalish lady turned werewolf was brutal, I remember that one.

There's actually quite a lot of the murder-knife in both games if you take it there.

Actually its Shep's mysterious Cutscene Assault rifle. The one you keep finding even if you can't use an assault rifle. Personally I think its inflatable.

The Murder Knife is an artifact of great power. Very few have ever laid their eyes upon it, as it is the Murder Knife that chooses to reveal itself to the wary observer. Those who have seen it's glory have been fated to be murdered in the most hilarious or most tragic way possible.

Forged by the Creator Elvhen Gods Biolus and Waretok in the hottest forge and by the hardest hammer known in Thedas, the Murder Knife is always wielded by those destined to use murder to change the world forever. Woe to those dare walk away from the wielder of the Murder Knife, for they shall be stabbed incredulously by the Murder Knife right on the back of their heads.

The murder knife was pretty damn epic. I wished I had gotten more opportunities to use it.

For the record - I always felt like killing the good Brother to prevent him from ranting about the sacred ashes to the Chantry was a little extreme - I mean, couldn't I have just burnt his notes and sent him back to Denerim with a story about torture and madness and left it at that? Or possibly left him in Haven until I could think up a plan? It wasn't like he was walking back home on his own through the horde at that point...

You can send him back to Denerim and just never tell him about the ashes. I don't know if that means that they aren't known though.

Heh. My rogue used the knifes that actually resemble short swords. So no murder knife in combat for me.

True.  That just seems mean to me though.  He's right there, literally at the base of the mountain with the ashes, injured, probably was tortured, and we just send him home without ever knowing what happened.  That's worse than telling him he has to be quiet about it - and I really think he would have been one person able to see the reasoning there.  You read all his works through the codexes (look it up, a LOT are by him) and he's a learned man; he should know that there would be a downside to the masses gaining access to such a sacred, secluded place.  I just think it was painted wrong, the whole encounter, to make an epilog for Leliana.
