Warden Origin shoutouts in DA2?

I'm looking for mentions of the origin specifically, not just 'the warden is now king' etc.
Has anyone seen other origins mentioned in DA2? I've read that the Amell Mage gets a mention, havent played that one though.

Yeah...but chances are he needn't have worried. After seeing his new look, the Warden has no doubt kicked him to the curb in horror.

Must have heard wrong, or it was a bug. You know how you hear text that you read on the internet? Hearing.

Surana only got one mention, from Anders, when he used her as some example of heroic mage-liness, which is the same as one of the mentions Amell gets, only it was for her too.
Of Tabris and Brosca, I've heard nothing.

I romanced him, and didn't get this... He was still all for screwing around with my Hawke. ;__;

is related to Hawke.
I do not acknowledge this fact because I determined the origin of my
guard by myself and I was pissed off by her alleged relationship:crying:

the game felt more like Six Degrees of the warden than a new story.

Are you kidding me? Aside from the prologue and the Flemeth quest, the game was as standalone as it could've been.KennethAFTopp wrote...
I felt many of the Cameos in DA2 was rather useless and shouldn't really have been there.

Which is a good thing, given the fact that we play with a new character in a new setting.

Not sure I agree with you, I felt there were too many connections to DA:O for it's own good. but that is mostly realted quests concerning characters from DA:O.
Like Meeting King Alistair was had no meaning what so ever.

Oh, and really, cameo's aren't supposed to be huge plot twisting turn of events. They're cameos. But, just because they are in DA2, doesn't belittle the game at all. There were what? about 4 character connections to the two games, Alistair, Leliana, Zevran, & Flemeth.
The point being, the connections there were do nothing to impede the game. It is clearly a stand alone title as the game could support itself w/o those encounters.

Of course it had one. We now know that Ferelden is harbouring apostates and is challenging the chantry authority to search and arrest mages. Through that cameo we learn the position of Ferelden in the coming war.

Well, he wasn't very happy about it, now was he? Blame Meredith for not speaking to reason.
