It's there. I would advise people to check the Technical support forums though, especially this thread for some outstanding issues with the patch and the notorious Isabella/Sebastian bug.

Dx11 only had problems with nVidia cards, and the latest drivers (270 series) already fixed that for me.

It seems to appear and disappear, so keep checking if it's not there when you click the link.

The patch is ghosting? There must be latency issues...^_^

Also, woohoo for the PC/Mac folks:wizard:! can't wait till the 360 version pops.

Honestly, would not recommend getting the game even after the patch. :( How I loved DAO.

I paid 60 bucks for the Special Edition of DA2 on PC and have been trying to work up the will to start a second play through because of the $. So far, I have been unsuccessful. Will this patch help? Doubtful.

it'll be a total game-changer(NPI) on console. auto-attack. that eclipses everything else they might fix on console, not that the other fixes are unimportant, just not AS crucial.

Now I'm not sure if this was because of the patch or the Nvidia beta drivers stating improved DA2 performance in it's readme that I installed a little while ago, or a combo of the two. But I have to say, the performance of the game has been improved 10 fold. I can now run the game on very high with everything maxed out with a stable 60-70fps using the DirectX 11 renderer.

That is impressive. Kudos to Bioware on the performance increases.

DA:O was more flawed than DA2 when it first came out.  I lost my first 2 play throughs on DA:O due to game breaking bugs.  DA:O was also stale in my opinion, just a rehash of Baldur's Gate.  DA2 was fun, after beating it once I immediately wanted to play a second play through.  The only thing stopping me were the bugs with the quests, especially Merril's romance and the attack speed slowing bugs.

So, now I can finally start my second play through since those were fixed.

Thanks Bioware.

AFAIK it doesn't fix one of the major bugs: The Isabela/Sebastian bug. Sigh.

The good thing is that the Steam version auto-updates it. No need for a manual download. ;)

Doesn't this address the bug you mention?

The effects of various follower talents and item properties are now being properly removed and re-applied when loading and saving.

It prevents it from appearing again, but it won't magically fix your savegames.

"100 fixes" that only resolve one or two major issues people are having. This whole thing has disappointed me so much. I guess nothing can live up the the standard BioWare was setting for a time.

*fans mad about bugs*

*Bioware puts out a patch*

*fans still complain that the game had bugs in the first place

No seriously. Do you really have nothing better to do than grief Bioware? At least they are fixing mistakes ASAP instead of ignoring them.
