Lol, so true. I just have two questions..

1. Does it fix the quest with merrell in act 3 that she has no recollection of once you've completed it?

2. Can I download this patch from Biwoare and apply it to my Direct2Drive game, or will I have to wait for D2D to put it on their site? Cause it's been a while and it's not on there.

Wait, you mean Merrill wasn't supposed to have premonitions about future events in her storyline!?

They are still worrying about patching this tragedy?  I haven't played DA2 again since the first week it came out.  One play through was enough for me and that felt like torture.  Finished it only because I was trying to justify the 60 bucks I wasted on it.  The thought of struggling through it again as a different class entered my brain for a few minutes and then my bourbon buzz wore off and regained rational thought again.

I expect to see this game sold on walmart shelves down in the $9.99 section very soon. You know the area, where they sell the bejeweled and deer hunter games.  Not even in a full game package, just a paper sleeve with no magnetic security tag hoping they will be stolen and written off as loss.

That is such a terrible excuse, it pains me that this sort of vernacular has become acceptable for gamers.

Agreed. The damage has been done and there are still elements of the core gameplay that would have to be completely ripped out and overhauled.

Does this patch the Isabella bug and flags from DAO, like Zevran being dead and The Architect choice?

It patches the Isabela glitch, though not retroactively, so if you're experiencing debilitating slowdowns your only choice is to start over or wait until the next patch which will hopefully fix existing games.

Most of the plot flags including Zevran and ones from Awakening are still bugged.

That requires a toolset, Mr BrittanyFan1035, for others to make it better.

I thought they said they were making those plotflags a priority. And that they'd be adressed in this patch, oh well.

I wouldn't hold my breath. By the time the next patch comes even the most casual of players would have already started a new game and caught up to their old save; it would be a waste of time and effort to made a utility to fix a save that most people probably won't even have anymore. If a savegame fix utility was intended to be released it missed its boat with the 1.02 patch.

What I truly want them to fix in Dragon Age II is DX11, my computer is more than capable of handling Dragon Age II on the highest settings, but DX11 is just too spiky.

There is particular bug that annoys me, it seems that the DAII does not import the DAO walkthough correctly because every time i reach act III my love interest does not react as if she had a romance with the Warden if i import a game from Awakening or other DLC. Please Bioware fix this ASAP, thanks

Hi,

I was hopefully waiting for a new patch which would fix my megaproblems but unfortunatly it didnt. Unless this is no common problem, I would like to see the following changes in a next patch:

- My first problem is best explained with an example:

I select Teammate 1 to attack Enemy 1. Then I select Teammate 2 to attack Enemy 2. Then, I select Teammate 1 once again, because I want him/her to do a special ability (bound to numbers 0-9). So i press one of those numbers, but now Teammate 1 wants to do his special ability against Enemy 2 instead of Enemy 1. That is not supposed to happen because when I select Teammate 1 I can see which enemy he targets (by the 'flashing base'/red circle beneath him).

- Second problem is that it sometimes happens that I cant select anything anymore. It doesnt happen very often but if it does, it always has something to do with pausing the game. After that I cant select another teammate or enemy, it just froze on the last selected target, which usualy results in losing the battle. Loading a saved game doesnt help. I have to restart the whole game. (Major + of this game is load times and startup time:D).

Anyone else with these problems? I tried to explain as best as I can.

I have this problem pretty regular.  I have learned to adapt so that I _always_ click on the guy I want to Fwakoom before I hit the Fwakoom button.

"Dr. it hurts when I do this."
"Then don't do that anymore."

It ain't right, but it works.  :innocent:
