Purely out of curiousity, has anyone else noticed Dog, when close to a quest marker, (e.g. reaching the marker in the hideout in Noble Agenda) then has the marker on him until he is next unsummoned/area changed? Has no effect on the game, wondered if anyone else had noticed it in their games.

I've only noticed that when summoning him sometimes he'll trigger nearby enemies..but not quest triggers.

He is not really a Mabari, he is a Quest Retriever.

I only tend to remember that I have the dog when at Gamlen's (Act I) or in the estate, at which time I always remind myself to use it next time, then promptly forget again.

I haven't noticed this, but I have noticed that occasionally when summoned outside of battle, the dog just stands where he's summoned, unmoving until unsummoned or I've left the area, even if I later wind up in combat.

That's probably a bug. Mine follows the party.

50/50 mine does this as well. One of the reasons I rarely use him unless it's a big fight.
