Anyone know if I can load my save standing outside the un-openable Chantry door and open it now after 1.02?

Nope, still can't enter the Chantry from my save after updating to 1.02. Wow. I don't understand how this is a hard fix guys. It should be a couple lines of code. If x (chantry door) won't open in the middle of quest y, reset quest y. Ever played a bugged quest in WoW? Hey restart the quest and get it done. Why is the lamest of bugs so daunting to BioWare?
I've played over six hours beyond this bug so reverting to a previous save is not an option for me. I am beyond befuddled... it's completely inconceivable how such a simple fix was not included in 1.02. Wow. Just wow.
