Ok the characters lag when they walk, Including me and party members. Its jumpy. I tried making a video with Hypercam to show but it would not capture the image it just showed up as black.

System Specs are
MSI Hawk Radeon HD 5770 1GB
Intel Quad Core I-5 2.8 Ghz
4 GB of RAM
1TB Memory
Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit

If you need anything else don't hesitate to ask...

Edit: I saw something that said to disable the other cores, will this disable them for everything or just the game?

Thanks

It looks like they are walking in place then they move and walk in place again over and over, its so annoying. The camera moves fine, the talking scenes move fine, its the walking thats messed up. It effects both the NPCs and the PC.

I have the same problem. My framerate is good except for walking animations. No amount of messing with video settings seems to work.

The Client Extension has a fix for a bug in the game's animation timing system that will result in stuttering walking animations that grow worse the longer the computer has gone without a reboot.

Sadly, I have the same problem. Everything works fine, and is nice and smooth, except for the walking part. I also have a modern AMD video card (6870 now, but I noticed the same problems on my older 4890 card, too).

A reboot of the machine "fixes" the problem. I'm curious as to why this shows up in the first place. Is there a timing issue that's messed up on the host machine? Is there a bug in one of the ATI drivers? Since this doesn't affect nvidia machines, I'd wager the answer is "yes".

I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit edition, btw.

Also, I've downloaded the ClientExtension and am using it. I no longer seem to have the walking background updating correctly problem.
