So i just put two and two together and James sanders is not the sniper from the trailer, but in the books anderson and sanders bang if i remeber correctly so yeah thats my theory.

thoughts anyone?

That's a bit unlikely given that, as of Retribution, there's nothing suggesting that Kahlee Sanders has had a child (unless ME3 takes place of a period of several decades)

They just kissed ... but for that matter I think Anderson had a son (Lair of the SB files, at least I think that´s what that file meant) and in the book we only saw his divorce. One of the books had Kahlee thinking that thanks to modern medicine she could have a child even in her early 60s..

well either way i bet that's the case Kahlee has been in the books and is a intricate part to the back story and her and Anderson have a history and probably a love life even if not mentioned in the books, and With a name like Sanders it cant be coincidental

Impossible. Even if 9 months did pass after Retribution (so that this child is born), he would still need another 18 years to be old enough to join the Alliance.

Yeah im saying they banged at the end of the FIRST BOOK titled Relevations and that was like 17 years before shepard was ever on the scence so in your wise words

That makes total sense. Becoming a parent rarely has any effect on the parents, and it wouldn't colour their narration of the events of Ascension and Retribution at all. </sarcasm>

Maybe the writers/producers added him in after the books were written and want to make the Sanders part of the video game trilogy and not just the books, why else would they make the name Sanders?? I'm calling it now, there's no other reason for his name to be sanders if he isnt related to Kahlee in some way and we know her family is all dead so logical conclusion is that she had a child in secret

Kahlee is pretty clearly childless in the novels.  That said, he could be a non-immediate relative from her mother's side of the family that she never had much contact with.

@ Amagoi: I'm pretty sure that whole post was sarcasm.

I don't see why Kahlee can't have a brother, but I agree that James being her son is unlikely. I don't recall Kahlee ever being explicitly described as Grissom's only child.

Very true, that why im saying they'll pull some stunt and its all revealed in ME3 that Kahlee and anderson have a child and he goes off to live with Andersons relatives on earth becasue space is no place to raise a family haha because the writers added him late

You've already got plenty of smart people available for the team.  And Kahlee very obviously has not had any children. Read Ascension:

She'd had other sexual partners over the years, of course--probably more than her fair share, to be honest. But like Jiro they were all just flings. Not that she'd ever been looking for anything serious. While she was in the military the Alliance had always come first, and once she became a civilian she'd focused on building her career rather than a long-term relationship.

Fortunately, there was still plenty of time. Thanks to medical advances over the last century, women no longer had to start their families before forty. If she really wanted to, she could wait another twenty years and still give birth to a perfectly healthy child.

Kahlee still wasn't sure what she wanted, though. It wasn't that she didn't like kids; the opportunity to work closely with biotic children was one of the reasons shed accepted the position with the Ascension Project. She just couldn't see herself settling into a life of domestic bliss.
