Also, GI apparently did ask Casey whether James has any connection to Khalee, which Casey refused to comment on. To me, that's pretty much confirmation that the two are indeed connected.

Because he's a relative? He neither has to be a sibling nor a son for that to be true.  It's been made clear that Kahlee has no immediate family and has no children.  So, he'd have to be a somewhat distant relation.  I think they call those "cousins".

He's an Alliance soldier Shep will meet up with on Earth in the beginning of ME3, and he'll be a squad member. We know nothing else about him.

I heard that is supposed to be Sanders. But a diffrent character.

Don't think that's Sanders in the concept art; the style doesn't exactly scream Alliance marine. Speculation pegs it as Kai Lang.

Yeah, only the image was not captioned "James Sanders", that guy doesn't look like an Alliance soldier at all, and that guy also fits the description of the Cerberus operative Kai Leng (Asian, tatooed, etc.) from Retribution .  People just assumed it was Sanders because the little sidebar about him happened to be on the same page.


ETA: Also, that image is clearly part of the whole "Know Your Enemy" section of the article, whereas the little box about Sanders is not: physically separated from it, different background color and fonts.

I'm 90% certain that's Kai Leng. His armour is very similar to the Cerberus "Ninja" characters in the GI scans.

Zoom the images and then look at the chestplates:  Cerberus logos.  They're just not crisp and clean because:

a. Scans
b. Paintings

I haven't read the books, but this thread is making Kahlee sound like a total chump.

Also, if that pic is indeed a pic of James, (which is not apparent from the GI article) then the guy looks utterly ridiculous.
