I'm not quite clear on the details here..

Someone told me that if you've befriended her you loose 5% of your attack speed every time you load a game, even if you load the same save file. How is that eve possible?

If you befriend her and keep her in your part at all time, are you safe from it? What if you befriend Isabela, play for a couple of hours, realize that her friend perk is bugged and load a save from before you where friends with her? Does that solve it or are you still boned at that point?

Seriously, how does something like this even make it into the retail version of a game...

Ok the bug happens if you have Isabela on the friendship path and have her in your party. If she is in your party you go into your abilities screen where all your powers are located. There is a cog icon on the far right. In that cog icon is a place for your mabari if you got the mabari with the sig edition game. Then if you get Isabela as your friend and she is in your party there will be a blue icon with wings showing the stat boost you get.

This bug activates if Isabela gets forcibly removed from your party. Say you go to Hawke's house she is forcibly removed from the party. Or you go on her personal quest 'to catch a thief' and she leaves the party. If you at ANY time save when that happens, then reload the game the glitch happens and you loose attack speed every single time you load the game up.

The ONLY current work around for this is to NEVER save after Isabela is forcibly ejected from your game. You should only save when you can manually remove her and get rid of the stat boost icon on your character abilities page. By doing the manual removal, Isabela's bug does not happen.

One other thing to note. Giving Isabela to the Arishok will cause a permanent icon to sit in your cog ability section because she never comes back after that. Keeping her around and in your game by defending her against the Arishok guarantee's her return and you are able to manually add her to the party then remove her again thus getting rid of the thumbs up icon in your abilities tree.
