Is there more to the story behind Jan Jansen's personal quest? "The Hidden" seems to be connected to the alhoon that's lurking in the sewers. Anyone know what happens if you do Jan's quest *after* you've already cleared out the alhoon's lair? Does the Hidden automatically attack in this case?

No. Although I usually make a point of killing the s.o.b. as soon as he reveals his true nature. I don't think the scripting really interlocks the Hidden and Alhoon's group.
