I've just finished my first playthrough of Origins yesterday, and I intend to start playing DA2 soon but I am wondering which/if any dlc I should complete before that? I'm thinking of Witch Hunt due to my character romancing her. but I have heard it isn't that good.
Which dlc do you recommend?
Just completed Origins and have a question before importing to 2.

Right now, the only other dlc that effects Dragon Age 2 is awakening. Golems of amafkasjfkaj and Witch hunt might have plot changes later on though.

Awakening modifies DA2 slightly. Nothing particularly noticeable that I'm aware of, though it does keep track of the Mother/Architect kills for some reason.
Maybe you'll import your DA2 into DA3 with the tags latched on, a la Mass Effect.

Origins -> Awakenings -> Golems of Amgarrak -> Witch Hunt
That's your standard canon import order
I would also recommend the Stone Prisoner, Soldier's Peak and Return to Ostagar DLCs for your Origins playthrough, and the Leliana's song campaign
Don't rush to play DA2 - it's just a major disappointment
