 I saved after merril spewed her spoilers when she bugged pre 1.02.
I haven't played since the bug - question is:

If i saved after she spoiled the quest, will I still be able to continue my game now in 1.02 and still obtain the quest? or is it lost forever now?

*edit* 
I know 1.02 'prevented' Merril from ever jumping ahead and talking about things that have not yet happened, but does it fix if she already did?

Not even restarting from the arishok fight (oldest save that i had) fixed the bug, so i gess it's one of those bugs that require a new game

I was afraid of that.... lot's of lost hours then. Ah well, to be honest, I expected it... just hoped it wasn't true. so much for 1.02
