between frost,fire,spirit, nature , elecrtic damage types, which is generally least resisted by the creatures in DA?

In my experience, spirit and electricity are pretty safe bets.

Fire is also pretty good: although there are a few monsters that are immune or resistant to it, it's more effective at killing darkspawn and undead than any other damage type.  And there are a lot of darkspawn and undead in this game.

Electricity also has the bonus of draining stamina/mana. Nature is the most resisted damage type in the game.

granted i didnt have the chance to thoroughly see how spirit works for demon-like creatures, id say electricity seems to be the way to go

Many enemies in Awakening like to use lightning attacks and it leaves my party without stamina/mana. Queen of the Blackmarsh in particular can be nasty.

Lightning spells are definitely fun to use if you can spare the talent slots. Too bad there is no lightning spell that can knockdown like fireball or freeze enemies like cone of cold. They all do good damage though.
