When you, for whatever reason, i.e. on switching from your warrior over to your mage, the TV screen turns black, a loading message appears and you have to wait for a full 5 seconds until you regain control of your mage by which time he's probably already dead on playing on nightmare difficulty. The reason is because the battle seems to have raged on during those 5 seconds in which you were literally in the dark and not in control of anyone. This is fairly bad.
But what's worse is that after the mage is dead and you attempt to revert switching back to your warrior the process repeats (screen freezes, tv turns black, loading message, waiting for 5 seconds) and by that time he's dead too.
If you are playing on normal or casual this shouldn't be an issue, but on nightmare it's a huge issue which gets you killed all the time as you cannot afford the battle to rage on for 10/12 seconds without your input while you switch back and forth between companions. 12 seconds in nightmare difficulty is a lifetime and the battle can well be over by then.
