hi!

my problem is:
i own DAO und DAO:UE (both for the pc) and DAO:UE for the xbox (yeah i know...it's a long story xD)

i've bought DAO back then when the game was released and played it for a while...
but i haven't touched DAO for around a year

today i've installed and played the Ultimate Edition (PC) and played a while
i then realised that the game can't upload screenshots, because i have 92 of 50 items in my "on-line storage"...well... that's no problem, i though, that might be screenshots from my last time i played on the pc

so i opened my profile and manually deleted all old character files and screenshots i could find
but nontheless, the profile diagnostics tell me that i have 75 screenshots in my on-line storage - oh my, i can't find them! i don't care about those screenshots and i want them simply to be deleted, but i neither find them to delete them by hand nor can i find a "clear storage" option :/

can anyone please help me?! i can't see the 75 screenshots anywhere and i'm not aware how to delete them
as this affects the upload of my character data, too, this really upsets me!

and why was i able to have 92 items in the first place?
was this reduced during the years? or does every user get 100 and it is divided 50:50 between xbox and pc?
my xbox does not even upload screenshots, so this solution might be dumb :/

please help me!

The limit was reduced from 100 to 50 files sometime last year.

You have a very common problem of phantom screenshots to which, unfortunately, there is no fix yet. The Devs know about it and have been trying to find a solution, but it seems they had no luck. You can read more about the problem here for example.

oh no, no fix for that? that's horrible
i don't care about the screenshots, but especially the uploaded character data would be cool

and am i right that the character upload is affected too by this issue?

You are right - the phantom screenshots take the files which could be used to upload characters.

and is there any hope on the horizon?
is there an "erase-all" button or something?

the character upload feature is one of the best features about DAO imho - it would be sorrow to not being able to use it

but thanks for bringing me up to date - it's at least somewhat helping to know that other people got that issue, too

is there any "petition" thread i can participate in?

just checked yesterday with hope that there might be an update to the problem, and there it is: it is now able to delete even the whole online storage
