So, I stopped playing NWN2 for a long time because it kept locking up/crashing the video of my computer every 5 to 30 minutes at random. It was infuriating. So I decided I'd see if there were any patches since I last played a couple years ago and found nothing.
The NWN2 website doesn't appear to have been updated since 2006.
So, is NWN2 out-of-live now? Am I basically screwed in hoping a patch will fix these video crash issues? And yes, I am using updated video drivers. ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series, for anyone who may be experiencing similar problems and perhaps has some advice.
I was hoping that NWN2 would mature nicely the same way NWN1 did, but I'm guessing Obsidian just has better things to be doing than cater to an "old" game like NWN2.
Video crashes / Is NWN2 out-of-live now or something?

Your pc is likely overheating or you are not on the current 1.23 patch. Legal issues, not lack of care, prevent any more talking by Obsidian about NWN2.

No, I've played with fans cranked and everything underclocked. It still did it. And yes, it was patched to latest 1.23.
Any other ideas?
Legal issues? What kind of legal issues? I'm wondering what's going on now... this game had a ton of potential, I'd hate to see it wasted just because some people want to be twonks.

Remove and reinstall then, because something is borked.
