The Square button will skip most of them. Some we've disabled skipping on for technical reasons.

Why would you want to? This game is the meaning of epicness. It's in the dictionary, what would possess you to skip cutscenes?

The beginning cutscene can become a bit tedious after watching it over and over again because I keep messing my character up. A skip in that cutscene would be brill becaus I'm sure I've seen it over 20 times now

What? The epicness with Miranda and the Illusive Man....oh, 20 times, I see your point. Yeah, ok, that is a good reason for skipping cutscenes.

for mass effect 3 is it possible to make the square button skip cutscenes/dialog but at the same time disabling it from making a choice in the dialog wheel? sometimes it's happened that an unfortunate press of the square button has made a choice i wouldn't otherwise have made. it would be of great help that this would be revised for ME3.

They did it for DA2 with the solving of making an accidently choice when skipping dialog/cutscenes well they didn't had the problem, but added that in, so I can see they would work it out for ME3

in DA2, yes that problem isn't present but they did one thing that i believe to be a bit of a step back in comparison to ME2's wheel which is the position of the selected dialog, in another words, in DA2 if you let go of the analog stick the cursor would be at the center of the wheel instead of remaining in the dialog choice you highlighted, that made it so that sometimes the analog stick would slide towards a choice i didn't want due to the "loose" feeling of the analog stick in the dialog wheel section.
